If Sony wins, it shows that they care nothing but pushing their own media through gaming, and like to raise the costs for us and developers, that eventually lead to the gaming crash that happened back in the 80s...
If MS wins, it means we'll be seeing more behind the times format for gaming, shoddy hardware, and micro transactions that go from buying my characters moves to progress to the ability to save....

Thats cause you are using selective reading. Re-read the entire interview. Its COMPLETELY retrospective. There is not ONE reference to current gen or the 360. Hes always comparing last gen to current gen. You have no proof. That statement is taken out of context.Vandalvideo
Need I repeat myself? The ENTIRE conversation hes speaking in retrospect, referring to FF7 and the last gen. Just paragraphs later he states something along the lines of "this could not have been possible on previous platforms". Its quite obvious hes talking in past tense here. I believe his exact statement tells it all... You can't try to find another way out of it.
"The PS3 is such a powerful machine that the technical possibilities have a great influence over the game design and in the end, the entire game experience. I can't go into details about my ideas, but many of them would never have been possible during the last console generation."
It doesnt say anywhere in that quote that the game cant be done on the 360.
Even if it does stay exclusive i'll get a PS3 for it, because i'm a gamer and systems are secondary to games IMO.

It doesn't even hint at it. In other words, theres nothing lemmings are finding discouraging about this interview. "We're accomplishing things you hardly can manage without the PS3."

That could be interpreted in an entirely nother light. The entire time hes speaking in retrospective, talking about the differences of last gen and current gen. Even when comparing FF13 to FF7. It wouldn't break logic that hes talking about the last gen consoles rather than other platforms. He doesn't even explicitly mention any other next gen platform the ENTIRE time.
Look at his statement. Read it well. "WITHOUT the PS3." Read that part.
