@Gomtor: Luckily I got my copy for less than $40 thanks to the Best Buy Visa Checkout promos. Disappointed the reviews aren't as good as I hoped but I'm still looking forward to playing it.
@gorehowl81: Horizon is better in graphics and performance, the story is more interesting and I'd even say the combat is better as well. However, Zelda has the huge advantage in freedom of movement and exploration. Horizon is good but I've enoyed BotW more.
@snaketus: I normally dislike Nintendo but the only thing I can find really wrong with the WiiU version of BotW after 20+ hours is the frame rate. Just ordered Nier as well so I have plenty to keep me busy until Mass Effect.
@bigdaddy0316: It's targeted at 720/30 so hopefully it can hold that for the most part since that's the version I'm getting. Not many details on WiiU performance that I've seen though.
@tnielsen2010: I caved and just got one today from Best Buy for Nioh and the upcoming Boost Mode. This deal isn't posted on Cheapassgamer so I wasn't aware of it until a few minutes ago. I already have both games though so I probably won't bother getting this and returning the one I got from Best Buy.
Glad Deadpool opened the door for more R-rated comic book films. I'll go see Logan at the cinema when I usually don't even bother at all with the PG-13 movies.
@Darksimm: Of course, but my point was if somebody owns multiple consoles, how many are actually going to buy a multiplatform game for the weakest one? I own a Wii and WiiU and I have bought a grand total of zero games for them that were available on other consoles. No specs announced yet of course but I would bet the Switch won't even be as powerful as the lowly XBone.
@wexorian: I have zero hope because there is no way they are going to show something on par with say, the PS4 Pro after the Wii and WiiU have come out way behind the curve.
