360 GPU = 500mhz PS3 GPU = 550mhz Not only is the ps3 gpu faster, but it has its own dedicated memory, which the 360 gpu has to share with the rest of the system. PS3 GPU > 360 GPU. This is why ps3 games are graphic kings. Case Closed.
I'm just gonna post what killed the last GT5 vs. FM3 thread:
Gran Turismo is all about the quality and quantity of the content and how it's presented. GT has always been about making the racing sim genre appeal to the mass audience. Forza Motorsport is about the things you can do with that content and the ability to customize it to your liking. It's more about expressing yourself through the automobile.
Two very different apporaches to what a racing sim should be.
I don't even know why we still compare them like this anymore..
sounds like forza 3 is sounds like its relying on gimmicks and gt5 will be a true sim racer.

start up screens are once, load times are all over. Also startup screens arent mid game lol.

even with install they dont match the ps3 load times. and for alot of ppl load times are very important in gaming. srry but blu ray is just more flexible then dvds because of extra space, less load times. And if you knew anything about what you're talking about, you would know that the read speeds of the PS3's Blu Ray drive are far below that of the 360's DVD drive. It's pretty much common knowledge that 360 games, in general, have faster load times. and if you knew anything about what your talking about you would know load times and read speeds have nothing to do with eachother because they are constant. if you watch a movie on blu ray rather then dvd, does the movie play slower? lmao.
