You said I can disagree, right? Well, I disagree. I believe that when discussing libraries, the age of a game matters a lot, even in the same generation. I gave you a link, a video from Gamespot for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter as an example. This game, if judged using 2008 or 2009 or 2010 standards would likely receive lower scores, possibly even losing its AAA status. You never comment on this game.
Graphics, sounds, etc. may be included in the scores, but the standards used to give the scores differ from year to year. Therefore, the graphics score for an older game should be weighed lower than a graphics score for a newer game, generally speaking. Therefore, an older game will likely receive a lower overall score using newer standards.
I am sorry, but it seems the rules for discussion about game libraries in this forum seem to favor the 360. Why? Because the 360's library tend to be older and have many more smaller downloadable games as well. Do you not see that by not allowing us to talk about the age or production value of a game, we are handicapping anyone choosing to debate on the PS3's side. This is simply unfair.
I don't know, but if this is the official stysem of Gamespot's forum, that we can't talk about age of the games or size of the games or graphics kings, etc. when comparing libraries, then I believe Gamespot has a flawed system.

xbla games are not counted. :|
the rest of your comments don't matter. it's the same generation. they scored what they scored.
Can you answer me please? Who makes the rules here in this forum, if there are any, that the value of a AAA game released in the 1st year is equal to the value of another AAA game released during the last year of a generation? Isn't it common sense that the older games were judged using lower standards than the newer games? If, so, how can the earlier scores equal to the later scores?
How come you choose not to talk about the fairness of it all. Do you not see that you are putting the PS3 at a disadvantage by encouraging gamers like me not to talk about the age of the games?
Ok, so the 9.5/10 of Mass Effect 2 makes it a far better game than any other on PS3 ? I mean its other good scoring games are far back, like Unharted 2, and would be scored with different standards, same goes for the graphics too, they would be dated as well comparing to 2010 games ? Or in short, a 2010 game that gets 9.5/10 is far better in every way than a old 10/10 one ? That would mean really bad things for MGS4, Uncharted 1-2 etc
