@badboyfx86: Whatever you say kid, can you tell me AGAIN what games and what studios (first and third parties) are developing PS5 games with the official PS5 dev kit? Because, well, you say Sony will launch the PS5 in Fall next year don't you?
@badboyfx86: The slow one is you, maybe Moriarty have connections but that doesn't mean his statments are true, and you claim that there are dev kits now in the studios for develop next gen games, so, can you show us one? how do you know that Sony has sent PS5 dev kits to the developers? you only say nonsenses based on rumors.
@badboyfx86: nope, you said that the "economic crisis prolonged PS3's life", implying that the PS3 was planned for a shorter lifecycle when the previous console lived for 13 years
@badboyfx86: and who exactly is Colin Moriarty in the Sony scene? I mean, is Moriarty a Sony executive or some leader for a Sony's first party studio? No, he's just someone who write about games, so he's speculating
@badboyfx86: "economic crisis prolonged PS3's life"? Really? When the PS2 lived for 13 years (2000-2013)? maybe you need to think again your statements
For me the "final stage of its lifecycle" could last 2 or 3 more years before the arriving of PS5, if we understand that a "lifeclycle" is more or less 8-10 years. The PS3 lasted almost 11 years and coexisted with the PS4 for four years (the PS3 was launched in 2006, discontinued in 2017 and the PS4 was launched in 2013) so this statements only probe that the PS4 has reached its "mature age" but we'll see a lot of PS4 in the years to come.
