I don't have experience playing in LIVE but I must agree that PS Network don't make any difference between the free service in PS3 and the charged one on PS4, I have both and when I play online they run exactly the same, no benefit from the Plus.

I don't know how this slim will manage the heat, my PS4 sometimes uses the fan at medium speed in a well vent area. This new model have less open vents, I think this slim PS4 will toast very quick
