I didnt think The End was "hard", just that it took me alot of patience and time to beat him, because it took place over 3 large areas, compaired to the other bosses in the game. Although, once you know how to beat him, you can do it within 15-20 minutes (mabey 10 minimally). But my first time, it took me well over an hour to beat him. What really was "awsome" but annoying about The End was that he didnt ever kill you at all, meaning you couldnt loose to him. However, he did make you really annoyed, especially since if you loose all your stamina from his tranq gun, you would appear in a jail cell that is easily 30-40 minutes away from the boss battle, not to mention all the enemies in between that you have to kill over again. But yeah, the trick is that you gotta make it so he reveals his position, and then all you have to do is follow him to his other sniping spots to kill him quick and easy. Getting shot reveals where he is on the map, so you can use that to sneak up on him once you get shot. Just remeber to hunt constantly so you dont run out of stamina. Or you could just take the easy way and kill him when he first pops up earlier in the game. But then you miss an awsome boss battle, and you have to fight those gay Ocelot units instead ;) Now what would be a really hard boss from MGS3 to do would be The Boss herself or Col. Volgin. I thought they were pretty hard :)
