my setup is a 32" Emerson 720p HDTV. pretty standard tv. and i have an xbox 360 of course!

my job is pretty easy. I work in the IT office of my college part time during the semester and full time over the summer. My car is paid for so all I have to pay for is rent and bills (about 300 a month, man its nice living off campus with roommates), phone, and car insurance. it wasnt that hard to save up for a 500 tv and a 400 xbox.

Guys, you might think that buying the "next great game" is worth the big bills, but it isn't. We can all recount the dollars we burned through for the "game of the century" (e.g. Ocarina, Halo, Doom 3, Halo 3, anything with '3'), but it doesn't last. The next thing you know, you're a college student and playtime is over. I already blew most of my money on food, and I don't even play games anymore! How pathetic, right? If I could take back all that money I spent on $30/$50 games, I would so I could put it toward important things and be a real man! So wait a few years before buying that new system. Donate to the IFCJ, you can bring Jews who were victimized by the Soviets back to Israel.

lol listen to Debby Downer over here. I'm a college student too, and I think that the 360 is one of the best purchases ive made to take the stress off of work and school. I am a firm believer in donating money to people in need but I think your approach could have been better. Good luck with the IFCJ
