I use my pc everyday, and this always happen in like once a week. When i press the power button, everything turns on but it doesnot display anything on the monitor and when i press the button on the cd/dvd rom it doesn't open. But if i unplug the main power connector on the motherboard and reconnect, it works again. i have no idea what is causing this problem. :roll: Does anybody know?

[QUOTE="KrnDuDe"]

[QUOTE="Gzus666"]did you do what i said? did it show a directory for a driver, or no driver? if there is no driver, go to the website for the manufacturer of your drive and download the latest driver. i am of course assuming that this drive doesnt function for anything else so far? can you read anything from the drive? have you checked the power and bus cable to make sure they are in securely?Gzus666

yes it shos a directory for a driver, and it does everything else fine.:(

ok, then i doubt its a drive problem, its probably the ripper. dont use windows crap. get something like Nero. did your drive not come with any bundled software?

no, it only came with the drive, cause i ordered oem.
