Original 60 Gig and 20 Gig have an actual PS2 in them. Some of the older 80 gigs did thru software as well. Here is a good site for checking if a game will play on your PS3. http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatus Good Luck
I played for the 1st time in months just yesterday, I was surprised to see a not of matches still. This game is a ton of fun still. Especially with the Expansions; Jetpacks, APCs, and Dropships just complete an already complete game.
Also, if you go to the Settings (2nd Icon from the Left) Then Scroll down to "System Settings" (near the Middle) Then Scroll down to "System Information" (2nd from the Bottom) This will tell how much space you have used and available.
I have a PSWii60. PS3, Wii and 360. Out of all 3 Consoles I think the PS3 is by far the Best. No Reliability issues like the 360. Awesome Graphics, and Free Online. Blu-Ray, Built in Wireless. Really most of the Games for the PS3 and 360 are the Same except a few Exclusives. On the 360 I like Halo a lot, not so big into Fable or Gears of War. On the PS3 I like Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, Resistance, Killzone2 (AWESOME).
I don't think they planned it. Sprint just decided to "Sponsor" the game for some advertisement. This happens all the Time. Halo 3 Map Packs come out, then 6 months later they are Free. I bought one pack a week before it became free... Not knowing it was gonna be free the Next week... I bought High Velocity Bowling and Linger in Shadows, Now they come free with my Qore Subscription... Bummer...
3 Flashing Red Lights... Totally Awesome... Liked it so Much my 360 did it Three Times now. On a serious note, Seeing Big Foot in Gran Turismo 3 was cool. The Airplane Mission after the Credits in Call of Duty 4 as well.
