Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is reasonably import friendly and is worth a look if you like driving sims. If you like rally games check out Dirt. If you want an absolutely insane arcade racer get Burnout Paradise. For me it works like this : Burnout Paradise > Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (***) > DirtCellAnimation

i second this response good advice

[QUOTE="-DirtySanchez-"]

[QUOTE="ZimpanX"]Unfortunally nu, huge letdown imo. The fact that the Crash Mode was MIA didn't help either, or not even being able to restart an event when it's obvious you're gonna failZimpanX

theres a crash mode its called showtime and in my opinion is alot better then the crash mode was, and its not that hard to go back to the race start, if you no you have no chance, then stop the car let the race end and go back and restart, its rather simple, the lack of seein other online drivers damage, and the lack of big rigs that can tear your car in half ( somethin the devs were proud of way back when they did a preview with OPM) are teh only things that dissappoint me about the game

anyway like he said no theres no offline multiplayer, maybe with a system link? i dont know tho as i havent tried, youd need to ask someone else about that one

I know there is a mode called Showtime but I didn't like it as much at it strips away the puzzling aspect and also having a bunch of friends over and have them competing in Crash Mode was always a ton of fun and a great way to get your parties started. And yes I know you can simply stop the car to end a race but it's not so much fun when you have to drive back to the other end of the city, that's not good game design imo.

I agree showtime is much better to me its so crazy how long i can make it go sometimes that its fun, and i understand you cant restart however it prolongs the length of the game not making it so redundant if a race was to take you like 10 times just to beat it, kind of forces you to just move on and when your in that area do it again. there is so much to do that no matter where you are you are guranteed some kind of challenge

[QUOTE="KurupSoldr"]i know how to get to that, but if you know something i dont and can actually download those from that site instead of just clicking on it and it telling me i have to get on PSN to DL it i am waiting, that just lets you see it not DL it

zeforgotten

Again, i wasn't sure. i do only know about the PSP store. since i don't have a reason to use a PS3 store on the PC because my PS3 is hooked up to the internet. So i haven't been searching for something like that since it's useless to me. I'll try looking around. but i highly doubt i'll find a PS3 Store where you can download stuff to the PC

I am hooked up too the internet, i am just tired of waiting a lifetime for a 1000MB DL when on my PC it takes a matter of seconds to minutes

http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Store i think that should do it.

That looks more like it.

Again, that's the only thing I can find. if any of you kids out there can do better. do it instead of acting like a .. jackass. or.. Donkey. And the only other store where you can download stuff from is the PSP store.

i know how to get to that, but if you know something i dont and can actually download those from that site instead of just clicking on it and it telling me i have to get on PSN to DL it i am waiting, that just lets you see it not DL it
