There is a review here that compares all 3 2008 NBA games for PS3. It's a short review but NBA2K is apparently the worst out of all 3, so I would say get NBA Live.titanium2108

i have seen the reviews, looking for more first hand perspective on which one is usually better to pick up. I am not a hardcore basketball gamer so keep that in mind as well.

Even i thought in the first hour or so of the game it was ok but it just gets better and better from then onwards.

I dont understand why people are so scared at buying this game becuase of all the issues being reported, think about how many copies were sold and how many reports of issues there are. I have a 60gb Launch never had one problem. Its such a small percentage less than 5% if even that high. You will start enjoying this game alot more as you get into it.

i know its high speed, but to direct tv its not cable its DSL they are both high speed which one is friggin better or does it even matter, i know that DSL has not reached quite the speed Cable can but is DSL fast enough to get by

Cable is usually considered high speed internet from what I've known anyways. (someone correct me if I'm wrong, and I will be grateful)

Anyway, I have Roadrunner high speed (cable) internet, and it's superb for gaming.
