I've been a fighter fan ever since i started gaming, i love fighting games and all stars is no different. I'll be honest i played the beta and was hugely dissapointed, played it for a few hours and didn't bother again. After reading into it a bit, and reading some of the good reviews i decided to crave in and get it, first few hours were a bit meh. But once i started to get into some of the 1 v 1 fights online, the game really opens up. Literally this game is a blast once you warm to it. It's surprisingly deep, and your constantly improving your gameplay. I've literally been playing it for around 8 hours straight and it's getting better and better.

I just don't want people to miss out on a good game because gamespot decided to give it a 6.5. I'd say its far more a 8.5. If you enjoy games like brawl, i'm sure you'll enjoy this game once you get past the stage of hating the no hp mechanic.

I can't believe this would happen, ive only had Halo 4 for a day, i was playing and my nephew knocked over my xbox, and it got an error. No big deal, i'll just restart the xbox, then it wouldn't read the disc so i open up my xbox to see that the disc has 4 complete circles going around the disc. I've just spent £40 on this damn game and my xbox just destroyed it, is there anything i can do to get it working again!?

Correct. Your trophies are not tied to a particular console or hard drive; they are only tied to your PSN ID. So it doesn't matter how many HDs you swap out or how many PS3s you own. As long as you log in under that PSN ID with that specific trophy info you can continue progress where you left off.Kravyn81

Thank you very much! Exactly what i wanted to know : )

Your trophies are tied to your PSN account and not to the individual PS3 or HD so they won't be lost. Just install the new HD and then log in with your account and everything will sync up again.

So i can continue progress on old trophies? For example get the platinum on Dark Souls on the new hard drive?

Hey, i have just got a 320gb hard drive i want to replace my old 40gb hard drive. I'm going to buy PS+ so i can backup all my saves online, and then i assume re-download them all. The problem i have is, i don't want to lose all my trophy progression. For example i am currently on my last playthrough of Dark Souls for the platinum, and the same goes for a few other games. Can i just re-download my save files and continue where i left off? Or will my trophy progression be wiped and it will assume i'm a different user?

Thanks

The only one i think that i can actually award a full 10 would have to be Dark Souls, for what it intends to do it's just perfect. I've never had a more satisfying gameplay experience than i get from the game. It's just perfection. I've platinumed both Souls games and i still can't get enough, that's just amazing considering i find it hard to finish most games before getting bored these days.

The great mystery of gaming: Why are so Demon's Souls and Dark Souls considered so hard? I have platinumed them both without much trouble. Are they hard games? I guess, they are more difficult than your average game but it's how you APPROACH them. I heard so much about the games, how hard they were and how one trap can kill you.

So when i started to play the games, i was very cautious and very careful. I progressed through the levels slowly, often going back to spend my souls. What happened? Well to be honest i kind of breezed through the game, destroyed most of the bosses first try. So unless everyone is doing something massively wrong that just came naturally to me, i don't think they are as frustrating as people make out. Maybe people are more stupid than i thought and approach it like god of war or something...

At first, I thought it was just the demo, but now the actual game is doing it. It's the same thing every time. The audio will quit, I try to end the game, then try to turn the Vita off, and it will hang, forcing me to restart it. Is this a problem for anyone else?

JustPlainLucas

Yep kept happening to me with the Demo, so i've given up on the game and won't be buying it. Don't see how problems like this manage to occur, it's like they don't even test sometimes!

[QUOTE="H_M_1"]

I gave up dark souls not because of the difficulty, but because I wanted to play other games as well, I mean I had 60 hours clicked in and was just on Blight town, and I read some people complete the game in 60 hours!!!

x-2tha-z

My first playthrough took 90 hours. Second playthrough onl took 40 hours.

My first playthrough took 48 hours, and that was without a guide. But then again, i had played Demon's Souls so i didn't find the game that difficult compared to those who had not i guess. Anyway we can't tell you anymore than the fact Dark Souls does require patience, i didn't actually find the game that hard because i took it slowly and always carefully moved around. Though that requires patience, which you claim you don't have. So the game probably isn't for you, which is a shame cause your missing out on one of the most rewarding games ever made.

[QUOTE="tarzanell"]I, II, and VI are AWFUL. III and VII are awesome. End of story.Shirokishi_

Dont listen to this guy.
I and II are very basic action RPGs. Theyre good but dont go in expecting anything mindblowing. Good 2 for 1 game, youll get your moneys worth.
VI is a good game ruined by HORRIBLE load times. If you can bear 7-15 second load times then youll really enjoy it.
Felghana (III) and VII are fantastic. If anything start with them.

Thank you for this great post, i guess i'll start with Felghana then move to VI, then VII and wait for IV remake on the Vita :)
