@PseudoElite It's not nostalgia, it's a simple fact that the story was well written in original + brood war. It set the standard for the series. A standard that has yet to be met by the current writing team that is working on sc2's narrative.
@SipahSalar You have to keep in mind this expansion was a clear appeal to the warcraft / league of legends crowds who enjoy having 1 hero that kills everything.
The campaign was not to appeal to a starcraft player, who likes to build bases, manage income / macro / micro and large scale battles. Controlling one character is WAY too boring and easy to keep my attention as a strategy game enthusiast. So campaign gets a thumbs down from me.
Story aside, it's the only blizzard franchise that's still got compelling gameplay (not talking about the campaign (which IMO is trying WAY to hard to be warcraft) but the multiplayer, where the real meat of the game has always been.)
"After extensive analysis we've found that the WiiU offers a remarkable level of protection for children"
Yea , because nobody has bought the damn thing. It's like saying "this new car they've manufactured is so safe, nobody has ever gotten hurt driving it.......because nobody has bought one yet"
@adrianjarca @L0mak @ambition_def It being a ripoff doesn't change what it was. And what it was , was the story of 3 RACES fighting wars all over the place. Not a handfull of cringe worthy characters pouring their cheesy heart out over "I can't quit you sarah kerrigen". Get real.
@ambition_def @L0mak "see guys, it was Jesus riding an ultralisk the whole time, we just didn't find out till right now over a decade later, it all makes sense now"
@ambition_def @L0mak You are so stupid it's hilarious. They could of introduced ANYTHING and said "this was that mysterious force we mentioned in that last game remember?"
Jesus could of came walking out of the ocean riding a goddamn ultralisk and they could of used the same lazy plot device to explain away why he was there.
If you truly don't understand why this type of writing is looked down upon by critics and consumers alike they I feel bad for you.
