UPDATE: Magically started working again. Im back in the game!!

I downloaded the 4.5 update on Monday, everything was going fine and then the screen went black. And stayed black. I manually rebooted it but it just went back to black screen. Occasionally the hdd light will flicker but nothing else happens. I searched around the ps forums and found that it only seems to be happening to "fat" models, and possibly only ones with upgraded hard drives. I'm going to call sony this afternoon when I get off work.

Has this happened to anyone here? Were you able to fix it ? Please help!

The easiest way to get digital audio out of your 360 with your current setup would be to use the component cables to the tv from the 360 (but dont plug in the red/white audio). Then run an optical cable from the 360 to this thing Then the coax from that you your receiver. I'll check back if you have any questions. Hope that helps.

Edit: had to make a link manually

UE11s are obviously the best though the come at a hefty price. Remember if you want the best you'll have to use a digital audio output and buy a battery powered DAC. It would be much easier to give you advice if you gave us a budget to work to....markop2003
Haha! Nice, but im guessing he'd be happy with some shures.

Gamer082009 got the facts right. Plus many plasmas have anti-glare screens which work to an extent. Any videofile wil tell you plama is the way to go. Just go to the AVS Forums if you dont believe me.

Kuros are bad ass period. I would get one if i had the $. Panasonic is also very good. I dont believe Pioneer is shutting down their business. Last i heard the were going to get panasonic to make their panels from now on (share their Kuro tech.) so look for the new pannys to incorporate that as well.

games will look fine. As for what kind of display to get that depends on a few thing like size, max price, room conditions, yadda yadda.
