@Daveof89: It's $100 for a standard Xbox One, or at least it was with the Xbox One X promotion last time I checked.
EDIT: Looks like they lowered the trade-in value for the standard trade-in. Not sure if they're doing a special deal like before on the site (as in, I'm not sure if this current deal is as good as the original deal).:/
Should I really attempt that Mountain Dew and Doritos promotion?
Or should I just jump the gun and pre-order the X? Hm....
I'm thinking lottery-styled win or else picking up the Xbone X on sale. Not enough time to play too many games, let alone buy a machine that makes them play better (don't have a 4K screen, so visual improvements would be minimal, which I couldn't care less about in comparison to frame-rate).
@batts86: I never said the PC crowd wasn't large (hell, I'm a multiplatform gamer, so I have no reason to act like the community isn't there), but I don't think PC will be the best selling platform for Destiny 2, that's all I'm saying. Daiblo III might have had consoles in mind, but it's a previously established PC series that also launched on PC first, of course it's going to have a leg up on overall console sales (if we're not including the ports to Xbone and PS4, but I don't even know how well those performed).
"Also not sure what you're trying to convey but the official Destiny reddit is probably one of the best resources to gauge user interaction and system preference for Destiny."
I'm conveying the fact you can't base the sales of a game solely on "geek/nerd" websites and areas like sub-Reddits, gaming sites, etc when a majority of gamers aren't people like you and I that browse them. Sure, you can get an idea that it's popular in specific communities, but that doesn't mean those communities directly reflect the views on an entire group. That's all I'm saying. Of course Destiny 2 will sell well on PC, but I don't think it'll be as popular on it as it will on consoles.
