Oh come on i knew Disney would F@CK up star wars when they got it but not this bad, great now im stuck here waiting for battlefront 3, which by the way got canceled because Lucas Arts didn't want to pay for advertisement, KOTOR 3 and now this. God damn its like Lucas Arts is becoming Valve were everything with a 3 in it never sees the light of day....
Jeez they need to create a bill banning idiots from governments, sure there is alot of violence in video games but if your going to place a law on them then place a law on movies,tv shows, books and the worst, the media. I've been around violent video games a while but i find there not that violent compared to other forms of media. I mean this is from a country were they have lots of shows about murder crimes such as CSI , Criminal Minds and alot of other shows. I mean last week i put on the tv and see a show were a dead cop is sitting in a chair and a message is written on the wall with the cops blood. I mean really, there is only a hand full of games that are that violent. Stop focusing on video games and trying to get the medias attention and focus on the real problem, which is getting the mentally unstable help. Man i really feel bad for all the gamers in the US and I hope that Canada never comes to this stupidity.
@vengefulwilberg @LT-murphy I found that TV and Movies made more of an influence on me then video games,( though it being barely any), the problem is not just video games,its all forms of media . But since the media has most of the US thinking what their telling they focus on trying to wipe out their competitors that sadly being video games. The media it self is affecting more of the persons actions then video games.
This is sad and right now im happy to live in Canada. Violent video games do not influence these psychos to go into schools shooting kids. I've been brought up with violent video games, from me as a 2 year old watching my dad play quake to watching him play Doom 3 then Half-life 2, to me playing these games only a couple of years latter. I'm only 14 and I turned out fine with video games not influencing my actions at all, its the parents responsibility to decide whether or not they feel their child is mature and responsible enough to play these games, not the developers. My parents trusted me to play violent games and they have no influence on my. My city hasn't had a homicide in the past year and before that past 4 years, so if he thinks video games are influencing people this guy need to look at the past reports on the subject all of them saying it has no effect.
