which one is the guy you work with?

I was reffering to people who are skinny and tall, not any weight in particular. Tall people tend to have big body stature - big ribs, big hands, big feet etc.. so being skinny looks out of place. Small people tend to have small stature - small ribs, small heads, small feet etc. - so being skinny looks proportional. I think 110-120 pounds is about ideal for 5" 6 person.[QUOTE="Famiking"][QUOTE="LaMont4553"] 6'3" 220 is hardly a skinny tree.mrbojangles25
yea I am in that category.
"big boned" is often an excuse, but back when I weighed 280 pounds (that was healthy for me, believe it or not) my body fat percentage was 18%. That is, admittedly, a bit high but the doctor said even if I got to like 10% body fat, I would still weigh over 250 pounds. I am 6'3'' by the way.
Some people are, for lack of a better word, just large. My wrists are as wide as most people's knees, I can hide a 12 ounce can in my grip. I wear a size 14, 4E width, shoe. Ive never broken a bone before, leading me to believe my bones might be denser than most.
I really wish people would get over their classic, outdated notions of what is an appropriate size/weight ratio and such. I cant get insurance until I get down to 280, and if that is what I weighed when I was playing football and eating right, its going to be insanely difficult for me to get that weight now.
Yeah, I play football, and tbh, you guys are blessed. I mean, to be that big, and not even fat, is amazing. It's easier for you guys to be huge, like 280 pounds, and still run under 5 second 40 yard dashes. Those are the type of people in the NFL, just consider yourself lucky that you are naturally a beast of a human being.[QUOTE="LaMont4553"]
That's him without gear on standing straight up. If you think that is chubby, than you've got a very off basis of opinion.
Oh I see. In the other picture his face looks very round and the stomach somewhat larger than the chest, so I assumed he was chubby. That's a much better picture. He looks average. Trust me, the guy is an NFL player, he's huge in the arms and legs and just all muscle. But it's not a full body picture so I can't say for sure, meh.

[QUOTE="Dark__Link"][QUOTE="Famiking"] He looks chubby :? Yeah, but I guess he's ultra buff - but I would not want to be that buff, that would look sooooooo off.Chubby? You have a very skewed sense of "ideal." He looks skinny because he's leaning to the side. Imagine him standing up. If I saw him on the street I would think he was overweight. No you wouldn't.Famiking

This guy is 5'7" 200. That's what muscle makes you look like.

Yea well nowadays, the fad is to be paper thin. I'm not sure why, when I think of myself as thin but not skinny with a kind of ripped muscle, the kids in my HS think I'm quite buff. I'm like "yeah, well you should see the linebackers I play against".[QUOTE="LaMont4553"][QUOTE="Famiking"] Well if you're tall, you'll look like a skinny tree. But if you're short, "healthy" weight may make you look chubby.Famiking6'3" 220 is hardly a skinny tree. I was reffering to people who are skinny and tall, not any weight in particular. Well there's a kid on my basketball team that's 6'8" and only 185. It's because all he eats, it makes him grow up not out. Just a freakishly tall person.
Yes, pretty cool song. But does it deserve an entire thread is the question.MTVjamsIt deserves more than 1.
