All of my kids love and play pokemon. They are 14, 12 and 9. The 9 year old has trouble with it sometimes and has to go chase down one of the older ones to help him out. I know thier friends are also around 13 and play alot too.
True friends would support your tastes even if it isn't thiers.
My son ended up buying a nice used one with his christmas money because we couldn't find any near our home. We tried walmart,ebgames,best buy and toys r us before giving up. Even online the prices were inflated beyond retail price or they were out of stock. Good luck, it seems again this year they didn't make or ship enough to cover everyone who wants one, along with the wii.
If you cant find any skins you like or cant afford, have you thought of stickers?? Cheap, you can get them anywhere and with anything on them. You could make a design of your own out of them or just get 1 with something you like or even your name and put it on the bottom. If your looking for skins, try e-bay or decalgirl.com
I would highly suggest not putting something perminent on it in case you do trade-in later or just decide you want something else.
I use pre-mositened alcohol wipes or eye glass cleaning ones in packs of like 25 or 50 for just a few bucks and they work very well all over the screen and case. I don't know if anyone else knows this or not, but rubbing alcohol pads can take some of the discoloration off your L and R buttons for those of us with light colored buttons like white and pink. I've only tried this and had it work for the pre-moistened kind, I have never tried the bottle kind on a cloth but it may still help alittle.Don't use it on screen protectors though, it makes them streaky and foggy.
I have a case I got off e-bay awhile ago. Its got a foam like outside and it has worked great. Its an airfoam case I think they call it. It has a place for my ds, 3 pockets for ds games and an extra styluson the seperator and a net pocket on the other side. In the net side I have 2 of the ds plastic game things that can carry 4 games each, 1 gba game next to that ( all sitting vertical) the screen cloth folded and put in front of the gba cartridge and 2 more extra stylus under the ds game holders. If one thing is out of place the sucker wont zip :P and it weighs as much as a brick so I don't think it would be good for pockets as it may pull your britches down but for a purse its great.
yes, I take mine everywhere. My case holds mostly everything I have and fits nicely in my purse. I can carry 12 games, 1 gba game, my ds, a couple extra stylus, and a screen cleaning cloth all concealed in a little pink case about the size of a large wallet.
Well, I had already gotten all the games I wanted that had been released so far so Santa gave me something I could try "other" software with. The easter bunny had better have some funds ready when the FFs all come out this spring.
