Ummmm, you may want to read the book that came with it or go to nintendo's website and see if you can find the manual page. If not, you need to find someone who already has a DS so they can teach you how to use it.

I really didn't like Lost Magic but being a FF nut, I got this anyway, and glad I did. It's became one of my favs and I've got almost 40 hours logged on it and still going. I think 8.5 is the perfect score due to no wifi and a couple little things within the game you either love or hate, but its still a solid game and something different than the normal FF turn-based, combat every 5 steps thing. I hope Nintendo keeps growing on this format and uses it for other RPG games they produce.

Unless there is some huge changes and games I want that use those changes, I don't think I'll be switching anytime soon either. They are still working on making a big library as they did with the GBA, also they have had problems making them as fast as the market needed and a few hang-up on quality ( broken hinge problem). Even as the first DS2 comes out, I always wait a bit before buying for the bugs to be worked out.

Doesn't look like it can carry more than a couple games. Try looking at the Nerf type ones. I can get 12 games in it plus 3 extra stylus and it fits my pocket still. Also provides alot more padding for bumps. Good Luck, hope you find one you like. Trying to find the "perfect" case for you I know can be trying. Its alot of $$ in a small package!

I've clocked almost 30 hours on this game so far, and I think its quite addicting. It doesn't have the intovated puzzles of Zelda but it is unique in gameplay and the controls are done really well. If you think this game has no strategy, wait till you get further in the game. I give it a solid 8.5-8.7 and hope to see more games with this battle system in the future.

Raises bottle of Mt.Dew and yells "HERE, HERE!!!!!!"

I agree with every single comment!! I have said to my hubby I would love a new, fresh, hardcore RPG that will steal hours from my life. The only thing I didn't quite agree with is I like figureing out where to stick his butt on the field, lol. Nintendo is continueing to try and promote DS for adults with mini-type games such as Brain Age and several puzzle games. Has no one went up to the president from Nintendo , smack him on the back of the head and said " If you want adult gamers make adult games that will make them want to sell thier homes to buy a DS and make them call off work cause they couldn't turn if off?"

Hey Nintendo prez, if your gonna sell DS's to adults you need good adult themedgames!! *smacks head*

Look around you at a game store, most hardcore console gamers are adults ( or close to it) and the hardcore RPG's out sell every other genere. One of the things that made Gameboy so popular that everyone owned one ( young and adult alike) were due to a new game they just had to have, then they went downhill from there. Another thing I don't get is adults are much more likely to run out and drop some $$ for games than a kid who has to save thier allowance.

If and (hopefully when) they finally get it together and bring out a good RPG, I can guarantee you I will be sitting at my local Walmart or EB games, credit card in hand, on the day that sucker hits the shelves, with my 14 year old drooling on my shoulder waiting for his turn at it and praying there is more than1 save slot.

There is no Wifi or multiplayer, but it's still a good game.
