Yet again, another example of that religious moral superiority that we keep hearing so much about...

Nothing short of pathetic, and draconian.
End the prohibition, and actually mean what you say when you utter the "leaders of the free world," and "free nation," rhetoric. Otherwise every time you utter "freedom," its in vain, and completely hypocritical.
If you subscribe to the BS of "do the crime, do the time" then carry your ass to jail, and turn yourself in. Because every single one of us breaks laws probably on a daily basis.
He needs to do an about-face right out of his position in office.
@Audacitron: Nicely put.
Both parties are at fault, but one is significantly worse than the other. One would have to be delusional to actually subscribe to the false equivalency of the two parties.
Oh how the right will spin it.
I could really care less about yet another open world MMO.
However, if they bring out another Dune PC Real Time Strategy game. That I would be very excited for.
I grew up with C&C and RA franchises (my favorite of RTS by far is C&C) and I also was quite fond of Dune 2000, and Emperor. In a genre that is a shell of what it use to be as of late, something like this could really help if it is done well, same with the C&C and C&C RA remasters.
With the growth of automation, and AI... we will eventually need something like the UBI here in The States, and that time is getting closer. It is far better than the alternative to fight against automation, and AI, and completely cripple our competitive ability on the world stage in the process. I wish more people here in the US talked about this in a reasonable manner.
The "there will be new jobs in the future to offset this" is a fallacy. We will soon reach a point where the new jobs available for human employment will not be enough to offset where automation, and AI are implemented. Even the jobs left available will require an increase in baseline skill set, and intelligence. Baseline intelligence of the country is NOT increasing. After the 2016 election, its quite obvious we are receding.
It's all a bit archaic really.
If you put it lightly.
The Supreme Court ruled unanimously Wednesday that state governments cannot impose excessive court fees, fines and forfeitures as a means of raising money.
It was a victory for Tyson Timbs, who sold less than $400 worth of heroin to undercover police officers in 2013. Upon conviction, Indiana seized his Land Rover, which he had purchased for more than $42,000.

I'm happy with this decision, and it's unusual these days for a high profile decision to unite Democrats and Republicans.
Selling drugs are some of the worst kind of crime there is and everything someone convicted of this own should be stripped from them the first time.
A pathetic draconian viewpoint often rooted in ignorance, and/or hypocrisy.
The war on drugs was/is a farce, and is in exact opposition to the "freedom" we so valiantly give lip service to. FFS people need to grow up on this issue.
