I know everyone is enjoying their moment of pure ownage, but nobody questions the legitamacy of the article. I know, haha, MS stinks -yaddi-yadda-yadda. This is pretty detremental to terms of consumerism. 100%, word has gotten out, and we're met with a whimper from the internet. Don't you think it's a little odd that no one else has reported it but the one article, and a DiGG copy-cat? Just my two cents.

LMAO is this their killer app, this is their trump card? Nintendo's grasp of the casual market has gotten to their head, if they continue down this path, they'll be known as the biggest joke in history of gaming. Wtf, this is it, why even bother going outside and actuallyplay tennis or basketball or excerise when you can do it all on the Wii. New title Wii-tarded where you can get your high-school diploma on the Wii. Just bash your head with the remote and strange your self with the nunchucks for extra Reggie point.

This has to be the most underwhelming experience ever. It's jjust blah, blah , blah, blah blah, no new titles no new promises, just a class report about how ell we did last year. Why can't we mirror it again :( Maybe it's because there aren't any games that shine. I can't beleiev they have the nerve to reshow games that have been out for motnhs. At least the microsoft conference had plenty to be content with, the amount of video games. This conference has nothing, said for smash bros coming out dec 3rd and frankly, with all th egames MS is shelling Smash Bro's might not be a top sale hit

Doesn't an SD 1GB card cost around $50-$65 these days?

Wii is not as inexpensive as once thought.

Hey ill-informed consumer! Ever heard of mark up prices? Dare I say, a-duh!

9.6...not even close. Having a SP with little to no replay value justify a 9.6. Its a good game, but people hail it as the next coming of christ. The MP is beyond broken. Anyone who hosts has a clear advantage. I just don't understand the love for this game. This is coming from a lemming BTW.ninjaxams
Yeah, it is. On this site and on 130 differenet other sites and blogs, and magazines. Don't forget to mention award shows and E3. Wait you know what? I think the whole world is AGAINST YOU! DEAL WITH IT!

[QUOTE="Viviath"]Finally found the book, Iain Banks' Consider Phlebas:

Look familiar?

here is the link: Click me!
coreygames
That book totally copied HALO  (yes, you bet that was sarcasm)

Though you find a book cover similar to Halo, mind you , just the world of Halo not the story. There isn't any real reference that Bungie "stole" the story, it says it only made small culture reference, be it Spaceships and Ring World. Not once did it state that there was a Master Chief in his story or a covenant, and the likely hood of Bungie's Halo. So my friend, you fail.

[QUOTE="Innocentguy757"][quote="UNSCleric"]Kinda like Sony killing E3 so they can pick and choose who gets to preview and review their content huh? Kinda like Sony killing Lik-Sang, even though they provided supplies to Sony's own employees, as well as a huge part of Asia. Seems kinda like Sony has a major disdain for the gaming indsutry, that's because they do. E3 was killed due to independent blogs like Joystiq and Kotaku (among many others) reporting things as they are. Major gaming sites like IGN and GameSpot will always be nice with their previews at shows like E3, and that is the kind of controlled space that Sony likes. What Sony (along with EA Games) did not like, was that there were bloggers running all over E3, giving honest thoughts on what they saw and played at E3. Sony could not buy these people off (or make them up like they do for their movie reviews) so they just took their ball and went home, effectively killing E3 since Sony is still somehow a major player in the gaming industry. As has been reported before, the “new E3″ which will now happen in the summer instead of May, will be an invite-only affair, and this is so Sony can pick and choose who sees what…basically, this is what you have to do when you can’t compete on an even field with your competitors. Continuing this anti-gamer attitude today, Sony has blackballed one of the most popular gaming blogs out there, Kotaku.com. I’ve sourced several articles of theirs and put them on this site, they’ve posted bad things about every console, and basically report every single piece of news out there. Sony today didn’t like what Kotaku had to say though, and began threatening them, and when Kotaku went ahead with the story, Sony once again took their ball and went home. This kind of story is the exact reason the PS3 should not be supported, and why I have always and will always fight against Sony. This isn’t about being a fanboy, or not appreciating games just because they are on a different console, it is about not supporting a company that has an obvious disdain for the gaming industry and everything it stands for. Me-Ur-Daddy
Read that people....so true...

teh conspiracies LOL, just like the lemmings say when people say gamespot is biased, except paul allen owns gamespot lol. he thinks sony hates the gaming industry ? more like MS hates everything they cant buy their way to the top of. what proof is there that sony single handedly shut down E3 ? from what everyone says it was EA, and MS wasnt always getting good press from e3 either. the only ones getting good press from it was nintendo. sounds like all the big players wanted it gone.

What? even if Sony wasn't alone that doesn't make Sony's arbitrary decision in the gaming industry correct. You focused on one issue where that post identified four, Lik San, E3, Kotaku, and Censorship. Just looking at your sig, I can tell it's blind worship.

Stop acting like Sony "steals" everything. the PS2 came out before the xbox so MS copied sony for coming out with a system. SECOND the original Xbox was black...JUST like the PS2....also the original Xbox had only Left and Right triggers and the 360 has "new" Left and Right bumpers kinda like the L1 and R1 buttons...hmmm...fishy? P.S. the PS2 had rumble BEFORE the Xbox. WHO COPIED WHO HERE?Daffy101
Wow you compared colours as a means of copyright? Do you have your head so far up your... You do realize that Rumble came from NIntendo first right - N64, and Sony was sued by the patent holders known as Immersion. Silly fanboy, blind as ever.

Yup, notice the trees in Total War, now look at the level of detail in the texture and terrain. Now compare that to Gear's textures and terrain, look at the tree again. Look at Marcus. Mmmmmmm, isn't that interesting? Yes, I believe, no I"M IN SELF DENIAL! Total was is better :P I own both games and Company of Heroes have better models and animations compared with Total War. Oh, and every gamesite, award show begs to differ! Next time make your arguments a little more reprehensible.
