The retail package no longer exists. Instead, you can get the new dark corners content for 15 bucks (7 new maps and a new "deleted scene" campaign chapter that can be played in stealth mode), or if you haven't purchased past map packs you can get all the ones you haven't purchasedPLUS the dark corners content for 20 bucks. It is available in Europe.

The elite and pro are both great buys. If you think you'll enjoy Halo 3 and Fable 2, the GOTY elite edition is definitely worth it. With the ability to download full retail games right to your hard drive this fall, that 120 GB space will be appreciated. Plus you can install games from the disk. I only have a 20 GB HD and I get mad about constantly having to delete my demos. With more space, you would be able to keep them all, as well as any arcade games you purchase. It's up to you, really.

party chat has saved online gaming actually and i think its funny how you think team mates telling eachother where enemies are is some how unfair...is this the first time uve played team based games?chaoscougar1
He's saying that after people are dead in search and destroy (it's a 1 life mode), they can still communicate your position. The CoD designers designed the game so you couldn't talk to eachother after death to prevent that from happening.

why even bother with screens when we have gameplay? Motion blur may look bad in a screenshot, but that's because you're moving! How does it look when the game's in motion is what matters.

Wait for Alan Wake. It will blow your mind when it hits in 2010.

any reason you don't buy used? if you're waiting for the price to drop to the 30-40 range, you're gonna be waiting at least another year, IMO. The game still costs 60 bucks, that sale at Target may be your best bet at this point if you're looking new.

Forza looks great, will run at 60 FPS and is coming this year. It's got plenty of tracks, cars, and customization, and online play. That's all I care about. Have fun waiting for GT5 cows.

I've played with people from Japan on Gears and Halo before.
