So.. Will it be Assassin's Creed 10 when the robots takeover? I think the 6th, World War I iteration oughtta be ballin'. This cow is going to die of exhaustion. If I even buy ACIII, it's going to be in a bargin bin. I got really annoyed when I bought Brotherhood and Revelations and they both dropped to 20 bucks within 6 or so months of their release dates.
Haven't got a PS3, so I never had the chance to enjoy the Uncharted series. Loved The Guardian of Light, so I think I might have to pick this one up. Albeit, they're very different, but the universe has always intriqued me.
Time to do what I plan on doing with AC3: watch a playthrough on Youtube. I swear, all my favorite series seem to turn to crap by the third outing. Hell, the only third game in a series I see myself buying is Bioshock. Why? Can already tell that it's upping the anty in a GOOD way. Oh, and The Witcher 3 I'm sure will be awesome.
RE6.. I've been playing Resident Evil since the second game, and even I gotta say, it's a hassle to play. Honestly, I just want to experience the story and have as little trouble as I can. Hence, Amateur for me. I feel like I wuss, but running out of ammo constantly and having to shoot dogs 3 or more times IN THE HEAD to kill them is just silly. Oh, and that camera.. God awful.
IMO, the biggest problem with RE these days is the overabundance of ammunitition. Think about it, you used to have to save your machine gun, rocket launcher etc. for when you REALLY needed it (Tyrant etc.). It came down to creeping around a corner and going "Oh crap, zombie" and using your pistol sparingly and often resorting to your knife. With that said, these encounters were more scary in that regard. Now, you run around and if you see any enemy, you just fire as fast as you can with no fear of running the clip empty. Of course, there are more problems, but for me, it has greatly changed the feel of the series.
