Now I'm almost convinced that we will be using the wii-mote/nunchuck. I would imagine the controls for this kind of move would be very messy if you had to use the D-pad on a gamecube contoller or classic. So maybe using the wii-mote wont be that bad.

what are u talking about? did u even play the original? Ness pikay thunder could be controled and it worked fine. Once u shoot it u just have to tilt up or down...and plus u never used the d-pad at all in the cube version (unless u wanted to do ur brag move or get rid of ur power as kirby)
