For some reason Steam's forums are down right now/I can't look at it for some reason.

So, my question is, what happens if I gift a game to a friend's account if they already own the game? My friend has his profile on private so I can't see his game's library.

Thanks in advance.

[QUOTE="gameguy6700"]Sounds like a fan issue. Perhaps the change in configuration is causing the other card's fan to run at 100% speed which is creating that noise? I know that with my 5970 my computer sounds like a jet engine coming apart at the seams if the video card's fan is allowed to hit 100%.

Is there any way I can prevent it from hitting 100% if that's the case?

Okay, so I used to have two 8800 gts for my rig, but one of them recently died. I took the bad graphics card out, but when I turned the computer on, it started making this loud high-pitched screaching noise that scared the heck out of me.

So, I shut down the computer and replugged in the bad GFX card and the noise stopped. I'm wondering if I did something wrong and if I need to do something before I can take a malfunctioning graphics card out. Thanks in advance.

Heh, people are saying that if this is like Oblivion then its a bad thing. Considering I've spend 100s of hours on that game, it's a good thing. And just by the trailer alone we see much more varied environments, better animation, better character and monster design, and much better graphics overall. All of them much improved from Oblivion. Furthermore, from the articles about Skyrim that's been released so far, they've specifically mentioned fixing ES IV's broken leveling system to something similar to FO3's system, as well as major changes to combat, skill balance, and so on. And the music score. Oh my god, I would shell out 50 bucks just for the score (not really, but its still undeniably awesome). Anyway, I can't wait till 11/11/11

I admit that I was a compleate ars towards the end of the conversation, but really... No one could give me an approximation of the price. Lets say you walk into a Best Buy walk towards the HD TV's and ask someone who works there 'about how much the TV's would cost?' And the guy couldn't give you an answer, not even a guess, all he could say is that it was going to cost $50+. Wouldn't you then get a little mad?

darkmark91

No, just no. You didn't give a single specific info on what you wanted on a thing that goes into a wide range of prices, then OF COURSE they're not going to be able to give you an answer.

Second of all, unless you were actually looking to buy it, you just wasted they're valuable time when they could actually be helping ACTUAL customers. You do not go asking a random customer rep for "research."

http://www.masseffect2saves.com/

Tons of save files in there, and probably a few that will match what you want.

Edit: Ninja'd :(
