Borrowed it from a friend who purchased it on the day of release. Played with the Imps through all 4 planets on normal setting.

Now, i feel like i wasted my time to be honest. Graphics are crap to put it mildly, one would have expected just some form of improvements to the visual scene but sadly no.

Also, the game still lacks simple things such as propper zoom range, support for resolution above 12x10 and for the love of god, get some more AA into the game before people's eye's start to bleed.

Vehicle pathing issues are the same, flying units are a complet joke as its just skimmers with a different hight value then other skimmers. It looks fantasticly stupid watching them travers the terrain.

Sisters lack range like the basic human needs water. Their best ranged weapon is the heavy bolter. Sure they got Multimelta's but to what good if they're all short ranged and you can practicly stand there with a squad of basic imp soldiers at medium range and pick off an entire SoB squad as easy has taking candy from a child?.

Also, i keep getting the feeling that the dark elves were added to this expansion just for the heck of it....they honestly don't seem to fit in and they are incredibly boring to play. All in all this is a piss poor expansion that was done half assed. To many things feel out of order and taking over numerous fields and having to build your base EACH TIME instead of keeping hte old one you had established is really something to piss one off completly....

Im sad that DoW has been given such an expansion because this is more or less a copy/paste job from DC.

p.s if you're running a higher reso then 12x10. then try and notice the planetary maps and how they don't size up to the whole screen.

Anything shoved out the door this year by EA, C&C, Hellgate, Prostreet and so on. onlyexception isCrysis which i think made it well past the clear point for EA to mess that up.

Right now there is cause for sleepless nights as to whether EA in conjunction with Mythic will f*** up Warhammer Online, in which case i'll stop looking at the MMO genre all together.

Very happy with how Crysis has turned out, and aside from the minor problem of my 64bit VHP not being able to launch 64bit Crysis, it has so far been a very enjoyable game. Once again, the FPS genre has a very open and non-linear game to cling on to and for that, i shall remain a happy camper. :D

p.s lol @ praise to EA for making Crysis, what freakin' shoebox have you been livin' in?.

I think i've played through the demo now atleast 20 times, and i still want more, alot more. The sheer replayability of the demo is simply put, EPIC!.

Have tried gun nut, splinter cell, mike tyson, wyatt earp tactics. Still perfecting my Colin McRea driving skills :D

tsk tsk, here we go again.A company releases a game that requires more engine power then whats currently available and they get shunted, to say it nicely.

I think i've scanned some 100 pages of Crysis degrading material and i've yet to see anyone compare this to the release of Doom 3. When Doom 3 was released you needed a topped out Alienware ALX station to play that on max, now aday's you can throw it over your shoulder with a 7900GTX.

No one has commended Crytek(sorry, no honor for EA on this, you suck!) on the job they've accomplished. They've once again ventured a digital freakin' minefield to come out with something that would set the bar (yet again) for games. I've yet to see a single person stop up and think; "Hey' a year from now we'll all be playing this on Very High with low range machines, and it'll still floor anything that'll be on the market by that time". Christ, my sisters Acer Laptop mowes down anything, and its a freakin' pre-built piece of crap compared to some of the glorified gaming rigs i see signatured around here.

Think. Its free.

Sure we can't play it on very high, or even high for many of us, but you fellas know what, the game looks fantastic on just medium settings. There will come a time where everyone will be looking back on this game and thinking how it really changed games as we know them.
