@finshur: Yup. I am going through the same process. Got my 4K HDR tv and my new consoles. Now I need a new AVR that is 2.2 compliant along HDR support which won't be available until 2017.... And then Scorpio.... PS5 the year after.... and so on

4K upscaling does wonders for a 1080p game. I'm lovin' them on my Pro and Xbox One S.

However, native 4K or even checkboard/injections are a sight to behold.
