Actually I only did it a few times when I first got it. Then I started to press the button that puts it on stand-by.
I guess it is just one of those bad habits. You know like you shouldn't have the volume on your Ipod turned all the way up but you do it any way. Considering I did it with the PS2 all the time. And the thing still runs fine. But then again the PS2 doesn't have a hard-drive like the PS3
But the past week my PS3 froze and the only thing I could do was turn it off by the back.
Then I turn it back on and it says something like "Your PS3 hard drive has been corrupted and is rebooting" or something like that.
Well I've learned a lesson. But other than that I mean it's okay. I didn't lose any data. I guess I just got lucky. Even if I had I wouldn't care I'm basically done with all the games I got. Not to mention I have an external har drive. Also I have no desire to go back through my games.
But I definatly will be careful (still kind of punching myself for doing that) when I start playing some more awesome games in the next couple of months.
Now I just need to learn not to listen to my music so loud on my Ipod or Mp3 thingy. LOL.
