Just admit that consoles are inferrior pieces of hardware when in comparison to a PC. Talking about general terms of what a PC can do that a console can't...well the PC STOMPS the console.

And that's VERY cool you write software..do you want a hand shake and have mommy and daddy tell you that they're proud of you? You obviously DON'T understand PC technology. You're defending the Ford Torus and the PC's are Mustangs. So please tell me what confuses you.

Seriously, I could turn on my PS3 and have a game freaking game install in the time it takes my windows PC to boot up...

It's called Stand-by. Who actually shuts down their computer? A computer on stand-by literally takes 10 watts. Next to nothing.

Even still...i'll race a PS3 that's on. You put the game into the tray, i'll start WoW...i'll still beat you by 2 minutes. Any game for that matter...i'm confident enough to place a wager. I can beat a console getting into ANY game by AT LEAST a minute.

Consoles are inferior PC's. Hardware, and overall general uses. When will people finally admit that? You can only do 1/10th on a console, what you can do the full 10/10 on a PC .

Graphically they do alot. Play a game at high resolution with lots of AA/AF and you will see.

What makes me a PC gamer isn't just the graphics though. The type of games on PC just appeal to me. Sins of a Solar Empire for example, i'm currently loving this game, Total war games, other RTS games, 64 player fps online games mmo's. Plus we get most multiplats and i just prefer FPS on PC, especially online. The online community on the whole is more mature too.

Then you have mods, i still play old games with mods, mods are for me one of the biggest attractions. If i don't like something in a game i just download a mod and tweak the game to my taste. When i'm bored with a game i download new levels or missions etc. Mods can do so much. Look at Oblivion for example.

I seriously think the people who are die hard console lovers, haven't seriously played on a gaming PC. They buy a console and just defend what they have. Don't give me this BS "Oh i've played on a gaming PC , and i didn't like it..none of the games appealed to me" ...BS ...so many console games are ported from the PC.

Hell...WoW has something for everyone....countless and countless hours worth of entertainment and genuine fun. How could that NOT appeal to you?

Or Blog, or instant message, or Myspace, or Youtube, or research for school/class...or MS Office, or Photoshop, or extra programs for fun, for DVD/CD burning, for multimedia uses. You can type a paper, prepare a slide show, listen to large quanities of music, movies, videos.

Seriously, a PC can do ALL these things....and the big dinger....GAME too!

Yeah, but i meant a mass produced $600 system that would take the place of ALL 3 consoles. Making it a better deal. Have all the games run on it, yet make them able to go higher quality settings if you do infact have better equipment.
