Samurize is the most unique and innovative system information software I've ever laid my hands on (and believe me - I've laid my hands on a lot of sysinfo software!). The speciality of this software lies in the fact that it is almost infinitely configurable. You can design your own user interface using the Samurize config editor!.
Quoting from the help file: "Samurize integrates with NT PerfMons to give unparalleled flexibility in displaying a wide array of information about your system while using as little resources as possible."
And unparalleled flexiblility it does offer. Using the config editor you can display information about everything from date and time to MBM stats and even the artist name of the song currently playing in winamp. And all this in a cool looking interface that you've designed! It also supports alpha blending which it makes it look ultra cool on XP.
Oh and one more thing: designing a user-interface for displaying winamp stats, MBM stats and CPU utiliztion etc. will take you hardly a few minutes after reading the help file. You can also download additional plug-ins from their website or program one yourself (if you know programming) which would allow you to make things like winamp visualizers which sit on your desktop!.
I'm not impressed by most new software. But this is an exception. It's the best sysinfo tool you can get and it's free!.

I finally got a gmail invitation. And no, it was not from a GS user (boo!) even tho I requested a GS forumite for one. Boy did he take me for a ride or what!. I sent him countless PM's and he never even responded!. But I'm glad that all are not like him (referring to my friends) :).
Anyways I PM'd a guy in another forum for the invite and I got one the very next day. Thanx man!. I'm still deciding what email-id I should have. You guys got any suggestions?

My computer science teacher just asked me if I was interested in working as a C programmer in some robotics company. How about that? I don't even get enough time to complete my school work and he wants me to get a job!
But you have to admit: he's a nice person in letting me know about the vacancy. I told him that I'd think about it once I reach college. No chance of going to work during school.
BTW I was the only one he asked 'cause I was the most experienced 8). This is what you get after 4 years of programming: a job request at 17yrs of age!. And that too in a robotics company.
Oh and I'm not a nerd or geek - believe me! I just happen to have an abnormal interest for computers :P

I was going through a few journals in GS and found that some were dedicated to a particular topic like cars, cookery etc.
Made me wonder : why shouldn't I? I've got a good knowledge of computer software since I literally have thousands of them.
Should I use my journal to review some of the software I get? What do you think?
BTW I got the Neighbourly badge because of my friends :)

I stand 4th in my class after my first term exams. A pretty good achievement :D.
Next target : 1st place. And I don't miss my targets (I've played a lot of Quake at hardcore mode, ya know!).

Got to level 6 today. I haven't tried writing any reviews yet. But I will very soon.
Gave my practical exam (chem. and comp sc.) today. Did better than I expected. The physics exam is left.
Hope to do well in that too :).

I finally reached 250 posts (253 to be exact) and I'll probably reach level 6 in a couple of days (I'm at 90%). Ppl might laugh at this but if you have a 56k modem and are online for hardly an hour a day, it is a milestone.
BTW I just joined the RPG lounge. thnx to Max65.
