1.5 Mbps will fine for a download speed on Xbox Live. What ruins your connection is your NAT settings and upload speed. If you have OPEN NAT though you should be fine

If you can't download M rated games is because family settings are enabled. You can change that in the system settings menu. As for the controller controlling a game on the computer, what type of controller do you have. If it is wired then go HERE and download the drivers. If it is wireless the you need a wireless reciever

Do they sell them at places like Walmart, etc? Cuz the nearest hardware store is Best Buy which is like 15 miles from here. Lessthan3James, I tried 'bridging' the connections and it came up saying that I need 2 LAN's or something. I don't know what to do. If you set yours up with just ethernet chords tell me what I should do to hook the 360 to it correctly.catlegkiller
Correct. you need 2 ethernet ports to bridge a connection which is why you need the crossover cable EDIT:- Sorry, if you are using wireless than of course you can bridge it.....DOH!!!!!!! CLICK HERE to see how to do it

Any computer hardware store. They cost the same as a normal one but be sure to ask for a crossover cable. The other option you might want to think about is buying an extra long standard ethernet and just running it through the house direct to the router. you'll have a better connection but if thats not possible (you dont want cables running throught he house) then the crossover cable is your only option

NOpe. you need a crossover cable. they look identical. The only way to share you connection through your computer is through ICS and for that you definately need a crossover cable

You need a different type of ethernet cable. Usually you use a straight through cable for connecting direct to a router, but for Internet Conection Sharing (ICS) you need a crossover cable

I have no idea, but at least you can do that now. You used to have to call Microsoft billing to switch it off EDIT:- Just a thought, if you don't want to bother doing that then you can just change a few details on your credit card from the dashboard (e.g. your name or address linked to the credit card) that will cause the card not to work next time they try to use it and automaticaly turn auto renewal off. Thats what i did the first time
