if you own downloaded content already andwant to redownload it to a new console, on the dashboard go to account management andelect download history. you can redownload everything from there. Just so you know, you willhave to be signed into live to be able to use any of it though unless you transfer the licences to the new console. I have a play and charge kit, but I never ever use the wireless mode for my controller. Nor have I ever understood Mircosofts approach to making wireless the default method of play, other then simply to be greedy buggers.Selvec
even if you have a play and charge kit connected, you are still using wireless mode. the play and charge kit does not make a wireless controller act as a wired one. The Play and Charge kit allows the controller to be recharged while playing a game by plugging the wireless controller into a USB port. The kit also includes the rechargeable battery pack. It should also be noted that the Play and Charge kit allows use of a wireless controller with the battery pack removed, however this can damage the controller [4]. Microsoft currently does not support it to be used as a wired controller, however it does transmit data letting the host know that it is a wireless controller via a Play and Charge kit.[5]; wireless is still used for data communication and the Play and Charge kit therefore need not be plugged into the console itself to function.
