I agree with you completely but there are certainly some things that have been left more in the dark than others within genres or outside the FPS/Sports genres.
Taxes or just something with shipping not being as frequent or well set up or something, idk. The extra cost obviously comes through the transportation of the item and the difference in the value of money between countries.
I hear you there, my movie collections almost at 450, TV/anime series is almost at 50, and games are 300+. That doesn't mean that I don't use the internet from time to time to tide me over until I purchase the physical copy of something, especially with anime since that's about the only way to see anime before I buy it plus anime can be expensive depending on what it is.
Why do you want a Vita? I've seen several people saying that lately and I just can't figure out why. I have nothing against it or those who want one I just don't understand the recent surge in those that want one or what's driving it. Is there a must have game coming out for it that I don't know about or something?
Sounds like a fun time. I tried stealth with the original Splinter Cell game, I don't really have the patience for it :P I have and was able to beat Splinter Cell: Conviction though. It had stealth but it wasn't as heavy on stealth and there were often times you could fight your way through if you wanted. I have nothing against stealth and at times I can pull it off but for the games that demand it or try to tempt me with an achievement to stealth all the way through something, not gonna happen.
That makes more sense to me and I understand. That actually reminds me that I need to play Tales of Vesperia. I have a bad habit with those games, I have 4 different Tales games and I've started all of them but finished none. Vesperia I got at least 3/4 of the way through if not more and then got screwed up through a save error and I haven't touched it since but I do want to beat it.
I think there will always be a market for RPGs and JRPGs just maybe smaller than it used to be in comparison given the rise in gamers and game types. I think we can all agree that RPGs were larger or bigger deals for more people in the 90s or early 00s but since then we've had the rise of social gaming, more people are playing video games, and we have several of these more fast paced shooter or action games that are releasing on a yearly basis where as these RPGs are taking several years or getting stuck in development hell like Versus. So I think there is a market for them and I still enjoy them it just isn't the same world for gaming that it used to be.
I agree on both those points. Crisis Core although being centered around Zack it really revealed how complicated and confusing Cloud's past and mental state are throughout the series. Quiet and perceptive sound right as well, I think he should have shown a bit more warmth in the film though if you know what I mean. The other thing I agree with is the HD release. I've started VII 2 or 3 times within the past year or two and every time I don't get further than a few hours. Those colors are killer and an hd release would be nice. Square doesn't want to remake their suppossed greatest game or at least FF though and possibly tarnish its reputation. Personally though I say if the game is as great as people say than its one that deserves to be updated.
