Books aren't linear, I can read any page I want in any order.
Game stories are superior to movies because you're in control of everything that happens.
For example, take Ninja Gaiden Black vs. Ninja Assassin.
In Ninja Assassin, the movie is always going to play out the same way no matter what. Trust me, I even used the force and nothing changed.
But in Ninja Gaiden Black? Sure, most plebs would just play the game and follow the story. But me? I sit there at the beginning of the first level and stare off the cliff into the sunset, thinking about the ninja hotdogs I'll make for dinner. It's art. I'm not confined to the trappings of a movie, that shit is for commoners.
