Obnoxiously redundant thread is obnoxiously redundant.

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Professor Layton and the Curious Village will always have a special place in my gamer heart of hearts.

this is the same problem Nintendo always has with its fans

they give you something old, tried and true, you complain you want something new and innovative

they give you something new, and you complain you wanted things to stay the same.

they want to deliver you original content at the best quality it can be, and you say you want games you've already played.

I know it isn't THAT hard to put a game on the VC, but if its any resources taken away from Pikmin 3, Other M, Zelda Wii, Star Fox, Yoshi, Kirby Wii games than i'm all for dumping old games for new ones.

darth-pyschosis

How about wanting a chance to play old games that I've always heard about but never had a chance to play in the past for the first time (legally)? I highly doubt VC games would make that much of an impact on any other area. Seriously. If Nintendo of Japan can do it, why can't they?

No. I prefer the old 2D sprites. It doesn't feel like Golden Sun anymore.

Why is the last sentence in the voting option? That's not possible to judge without playing the game. Anyway, I don't care either way. I've been waiting far too long for this game. As long as it's good.

Hm. Super Famicon...Legend of Zelda. I'm going to take a wild guess and say,A Link to the Past. :PThat commercial was pure, cheesy goodness. :D

I wouldn't be such an overbearingly self-righteous, judgmental d-bag as to dictate to someone that they shouldn't use Action Replay on their single player game. After all, what someone is doing on their own game has no effect on mine. Online multiplayer games are a different story, though. :P

[QUOTE="snowman6251"]ah yes. girls + video games. tragic mistake. (to all the girl gamers. Sorry I had to. rock on)

Patriarchal society = a curse to all living things. Hardee-har. :-P No, you didn't have to say that. Hopefully, when you get older, you will mature out of that particularly ignorant mindset.

They sure are taking their sweet time with the localization. They have the complete trilogy out in Japan. Plus, they're starting on another one and coming out with a movie. :P Better late than never.

I agree with the observations that the girl may be the Master Sword in "human" form. It looks like they're keeping Link as a righty...due to the Wiimote.

[QUOTE="MayorJohnny"]

How can you say that Nintendo didn't deliver at E3?

Games for the core gamers in 2009 and 2010:

  • NEW Super Mario Bros. Wii
  • Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
  • The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
  • Super Mario Galaxy 2
  • Metroid Project M
  • Golden Sun DS
  • The Legend of Zelda Wii (most likely)
  • Pikmin 3 (most likely)

Also, Reggie confirmed that Retro Studios is "hard at work" on something new! That should be great! Also, who knows what other games will be revealed within the next year?

Nintendo delivered to the core gamer!

samuraiguns

They delivered.

Eff yes, they did! Whoo! Let's not forget Professor Layton 2. I masochistically look forward to feeling like a moron when I can't figure out the solution to a puzzle, and cursing at my DSL in frustration as Luke and Layton mock me for being wrong. :P
