Ah...Glorious Level Skipping/Considering a PS2...

Thankfully I have been fortunate enough like many other Gamespotters to have skipped a level! In my case this was Level 16. Ah well, you don't see me complaining 8) .

Well I think it's time I finally picked-up a PS2, the announce of Tales of the Abyss just triggered me along with some other great games I've always wanted to get.

This of course will be after I buy my new graphics card and Metroid Prime: Hunters (argh, release it already Nintendo of Australia!!).

Heres a list of games I might be interested in getting:

- Final Fantasy X

- Final Fantasy X-2

- Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

- Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening

- Tales of the Abyss

- Tales of Legendia

- Soul Calibur 3

- Rugby League 2 (it's pretty big in Australia)

- Kingdom Hearts 2

Let me know if I missed any real must-haves.

$aving...

My current 128MB Graphics card just isn't cutting it... It seems I'm always the one that recieves lag (especially at LANs). So for the next month (or 2... ) there won't be any new games until I buy my new graphics card.

This may result in some absence on Gamespot but I'll try to keep myself motivated. :D Especially because E3 is so close. I don't want to miss out on any new news. One example being the Nintendo "Wii" (wtf?). Though I must say for some crazy reason the name's starting to grow on me.

On another topic, it's been more than two weeks and my wireless router still hasn't come in. I'm starting to think the people at U-Mart have forgotten about me or are just really slow...

That's all from me this week, stay tuned because as soon as I get my Wi-Fi up and running I want to challange every one of you at MK:DS (and eventually MP:H)!

Mmm...Chocolate...

Happy Easter everyone!

I've already obtained all the chocolate I'll need for the rest of the holidays (maybe even a bit more...:? )

<---If you ever see somebody in a red suit during Easter be warned its not Santa...

Moving on I picked up a copy of Tales of Phantasia on its Australian release date and at the moment it's a pretty good game. Flawed, but still good.

My Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector is most likely going to be coming in next week (after I send a money order), now all I need is Metroid Prime: Hunters...

Looks like I'll have to delay Oblivion until later I needed a new graphics card for it anyway (another 100 bucks  ) so I'll give that a rest until I can afford it. But in the meantime Morrowind should keep me busy.

On the topic of my lost GC data, while I was rebuilding my Tales of Symphonia data a message came up saying my Memory Card was corrupt and needed to be formatted. After many attempts I kept on getting "Format failed". Why does this happen to me!? The memory card was a Nintendo 256 (or something) Block memory card it wasn't Mad Catz or anything else so thats pretty rare to have a faulty Nintendo product. Any help would still be appreciated guys :?

Well looks like I better get back to my :twisted:HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENT:twisted:... Eeeyaaaaaa...Nooooo...

Easter Gaming

With the Easter Holidays just around the corner I need something to do! I'm nearing the end chapters of RE4 and I need to make this decision.

I'm tossing up between getting my Wi-Fi connection or Oblivion (PC).

While I know the potential of the Wi-Fi connection, I don't have a copy of MP:Hunters to play! And it looks like I won't be getting that until May.

But at the moment Oblivion was recently released in Australia and judging from what I've seen and heard it looks SO DAMN AWSOME! I'm borrowing a copy of Morrowind from my friend this weekend so I don't know if I'm going to like it yet.

But what do you guys think?

It's all Gone!!!

Argh! No!

One of my Gamecube memory card's data has vanished!!

It had like 400+ hours of Gameplay on it  Looks like I'll be redoing Tales of Symphonia, Super Smash Bros. Melee (unlocking EVERYTHING), Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicals and wait for it...

Animal Crossing! :cry::cry::cry:

Has this happened to anyone else before and while I highly appriciate it if anyone knew any possible ways to retrieve data, which is probably most unlikely...

OMG MP:H in Australia March 25!!!! YESSSS!!!

Well thats a bit more like it Nintendo Australia (considering it was meant for release in like May :o )

This means I need to hurry up and get my Wi-Fi so I can take part in the True Gamer Union's Wi-Fi/Online nights!

And also it's my Birthday today so this news has really made my day!

My Cube's Latest Addition

Resident Evil 4, Woot!

The fun starts tonight (I've made a promise to myself that I will only play this game at night  ) just to add to the atmosphere.

<--- PAL version box art, better than the NTSD? (did I get that right?) I'll let you decide

Da Collection (GC)

So I was pretty bored, I decided to post an image collection of my Gamecube collection. Feel free to rate it and recommend any games.

Currently on my to get list: RE4, Baiten Kaitos.

Game prices in Australia

So I picked up Final Fantasy IV today has anyone got any opinions on it? Is it a good game? BECAUSE IT BETTER BE WORTH MY $90!!! (approx. $70 US)

So I asked the guy why it was so much he said because most other stores didn't have it. So yeah alright I bought it but then it got worse...

As some of you might know I've been very keen on getting my Wi-Fi connector this month, so I asked for the price...get ready...

$150(au)...

WTF, Nintendo.com.au has it for a RRP of $50(au), why is everything so expensive here? I think I'm ready to move to America lol...
