No, it's not. The nostalgia speaks loud, but reason says otherwise. I have played the latest beta, Diablo III owes nothing to the first installment IMO. On the contrary, it's a much more polished game with all Things Diablo.

And Diablo 1 was the reason I finally gave up to Windows 95 at the time. Still got the beautiful box here in my collection... :cool:

Flop. And I won't pay full price for this crap, especially not for the real life money auction house.

Yesterday when I first saw it: they had 45 thousand. Now: almost 68!!

Kickstarter just discovered a HUGE potential lying dormant in the community. I myself am astounded! I guess it's not just me and another one here and there who really misses the good old games (no pun intended with gog.com).

I loved the The Witcher 1, from start to finish.

The second one failed miserably to keep my interest though, and I stopped playing it after, at a wild guess, 10 hours or less. A pity, it was at the time my most anticipated game, have pre-ordered it with the certainty that it would be groundbreaking. Didn't know about this huge update that is about to be released; let's hope for the best...

I think I'm nearly beating the game now. One good piece of fun! And a marvel to look at. But I do feel such beautiful environments deserve a more complex game with a better story though...
