To those saying to wait until the format war is over, this is ridiculous. It won't be over soon, if ever at all! Both camp are going strong, are highly backed and backfires at eachother on a weekly basis. They probably will both survive till the end.
Having a 360 (elite preferably) with a HD-DVD and a PS3 with included Blu-Ray is marvelous. I would have both consoles anyway. So a few hundreds more to enjoy both 1080p formats is just plain awesome. I love both.
As for if it's worth it for you. That depends how much/often you enjoy watching dvd's. If you have a 1080p TV and an Elite, it's a no brainer though. If not, like i said, it depends how much you're into movies. I actually held on watching my HD-DVD's until today, i just bought an Elite finally! :)
You guys don't have to play it online if you don't like it. Most of us wants it so we're happy it's now there. If you only want to play Arcade/Practice/Versus/Tournament fine it's in there too so you have no reason to complain for online play being added. Plus it's not everybody nowadays who enjoys fighter and have a bunch of friends at hand ready at all times for a match. I actually only have one friend who's still really into fighters and i easily beat him at any game so i'm quite thankful for these series to finally go online.
Yes! I need to revisit many PSX RPG`s...plus tons that i never got to play at all too. But in fact, i actually even prefer the SNES era RPG's. The FF, Chrono, Lufia, Earthbound, Secret of, SMRPG, BoF. But i get your point totally, as much as the SNES RPG`s, the PSX ones have a very special feel to them. Great stuff!
For about a week maybe a bit more i`ve started having trouble logging on with my PS3. It used to always be online automatically. But now it most often don`t work and when i try again it gives me an error. It sometimes work but it`s rare, mostly don`t. Ususally i get a DNS error. But my settings are automatic!! What to do? I'm wireless by the way.
What makes a system 64bit, and is it a requirement for any games currently or upcoming (UT2K7-Crysis)? Also i just tried the Tomb Raider AE demo and it wasn't all nice. I have Athlon X2 64 dual Core 4800+, 2GB DDR2 and an integrated 6150SE. Shouldn't this card run at least the tomb raider demo to the fullest? 1440X900 was hurting it a bit and i couldn't even afford any AA at all! At least i was in full resolution with everything elso on but still...Is something wrong here?
