Halo: Reach is not even close to being the best shooter of this generation. I'm sorry to burst your bubble. Yes, it was a stellar experience but the campaign did little to expand the Halo series or to reinvent and add some originality to the FPS genre. Try again.
Please disassociate yourself with the term "gamer" if you're an elitist bigot that condescends on any other gamer's skill and/or preference(s) of console/platform, genre, games or "hardcore-ness". I am almost embarrassed to share the same hobby as you.

its been true since the release of the ps3. imho the ps3 is superior and has better games because of bluray and the cell, they make games better. the ps3 is faster stronger and more powerful than the xbox waaay before 2010

To be honest, the PS3 is not that much stronger than the Xbox 360. You're merely another victim of Sony's hundred million dollar marketing. What's really the problem is this: Microsoft remains stubborn in investing in for some decent first party developers to showcase the console's prowess.
