Compared to the latest Zelda games it's slightly over-rated but it was an epic game at the time :-) I had the remake on the GC

I'm still quite young so my dad used to buy my games when I had a Megadrive.
The first game I bought on my own was on the PS1, it was called Loaded (anyone know it? lol)
I strongly suggest trying out Morrowind. All my epic gaming moments were not specific to the game. Meaning most of them involved partying up with other people under a specific situation and/or things I have created myself (Neverwinter)

Yeah I've already played Morrowind. I had it on xbox a couple of years ago. I didn't...I wasn't in the right mind to play it and didn't find it as enjoyable. I've had Oblivion over a year now and I only recently started playing it again. I find it the best in the series where I understand that people like Morrowind better.
wow this thread actually works.
I have another epic moment.......when the Shagohad busts out of the warehouse place in MGS3 and starts chasing you down the runway and around the base :-D
I recently picked up my game of Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion and started to play it again. I finished the story (quest) of the game and thought to myself how satisfying it was to destroy the oblivion gates and help the king save Tamriel. Tome this was one of the moment epic moments ingamingit really felt like you had achieved something (when obviously you really hadn't)
What would you say is the most 'epic' moment in gaming history?
Its called SaaS (Software as a Service). Its not new. Its been done before.
Its just not as profitable.
I dont mean to sandbag you, but your ideas are neither original or innovative. Companies havent done it that way because its just not as profitable. Thats really the only things publishers care about.

I didn't say they were original or anything. Honestly weren't even my idea I was just saying about it. I understand its not profitable it was just a conversation between me and my mate about how we thought gaming would be better and easier.
Obviously I can see what you are saying and yes I agree there is a bigger profit in yearly releases but on the other hand you could still profit from online updates.
As you may be aware, or not, Fifa has an update called 'Ultimate Team' (or something on the lines of that). Many of my friendsdownloadedthis ultimate team and straight away all of them said "this is awesome" it offered something more to the Fifa community. Taking ideas from reality (as buying packs of cards with points and having them players that you get in the card pack avaliable to use in your team) with the online use of playing against people. All these young kids buy these packs of cards from shops and really just to sit in a book/box and get dusty. Now this idea is put to a good use. Fifa made it appealing to people so you aren't always getting the best players but having to use skill within the game. My mates came to me the next day and said "YOU HAVE TO PAY!"..now firstly I didn't realise what they meant but they explained and I found out what they had downloaded was a demo for 5 matches and that you had to pay something like £7. If I am correct all of my friends paid for this. Making this feature appealing to football fans seemed to have worked. Just imagine if you had to pay £1 a transfer or however much on these games Fifa could still gaina profit from it.
I'm just using Fifa asan example. Do you think any games might evolve this way?
