[QUOTE="Loegi"][QUOTE="Drasonak"]Neat. "I contribute nothing to society and expect everything in return." That's a bit selfish of you.26,000 CHILDREN die from starvation every day.
Three American women are raped, illegitimately, every minute.
32 million people are slaves, with many being children.
Children in parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, like the Republic of Congo, are forced to rape and mutilate their parents, and then kill them.
And you're on GameSpot... complaining about how your high-end video games which exist only for entertainment purposes are a few years behind because developers want to appeal to a large demographic, which in turn means more people get to enjoy their game, but a few butthurt PC gamers will cry because they are more important than the extra 100% of people they appease. It's just too sad.

[QUOTE="Loegi"][QUOTE="lowe0"]Gamers are responsible for their own platform. Whether it's "PC holding back consoles", "360 has no games", "Sony closes another studio", "Wii gets only shovelware", etc., you only get what you're paying for. Don't like it? Look in the mirror, realize it's the money in your wallet that drives publishers' decision-making, and support studios who are making the kind of games you want. Or don't, but then you have no right to complain.lowe0So developers wouldn't ever be swayed by more opportunity etc. on the other platform? If there's more opportunity on a platform other than yours, whose fault is that? I'd guess the large group of people on that platform.

This is why PC Gaming's future has shifted so much to F2P.

because mmos are all the pc has?
There are other genres that have F2P games now. Like FPS, and MOBA.Gamers are responsible for their own platform. I'm in the beta and it's none of those things, and it does get really hectic like any other shooter with lots of players fighting at once as well. I played it shortly too, and the slow and boring parts can probably be explained by me being in the wrong area though. It did feel too clunky for me to enjoy though. I wasn't able to get how and where I wanted to move in the game. Movement is a pretty important part of FPS. Depending on how you play, it can vary in importance too. I like to move around quickly, and efficiently. I wasn't able to do that in PS2.[QUOTE="Loegi"]Looks too boring, slow, and clunky.mitu123
