I've never liked buying second hand games, dunno why just personal preferance i guess. As you said its massive business now and seems most of the high street retailers of games do this in uk now. Its pure profit for the shops and its only really been the last year, year and a half its taken off.
The thing is you only save about a £1 on older games and maybe £5 on new games when buying used games and with the publishers starting to us MP pass codes and exclusive DLC, you'll end up spending more for a second hand game.
At the moment I've got Deus Ex: human rev, Warhammer: Space marine, Gears 3, Dark souls and SWTOR on pre order. Will probably get MW3 and BF3 but waiting for all the special offers to out for those 2. The rest i'm after I will probaly wait for to come down in price early next year. Oh and talking about early next year, I'll definiately be getting Mass Effect 3.
Man, i got RDR pretty soon after release but for some reason its still in the 'to play' list of games sat on my shelf. must get round to it at somepoint :)
Saw this the other day, i find it quite amazing that he would leave renault, but mclaren have also got that new sponsership deal with vodafone starting that season too.
I try to finish games, but more often than not, i'm leaving them to gather dust. I get bored with some games really easily, play them too much ina short period of time. I make a rule for not playing games on easy, unless it's stupidly difficult and never use hints/guides/walk throughs the first time through.
