Common sense works as long as you follow through. Go to class regularly, and make attendance a priority - this makes studying easier, shorter and allows you to narrow your focus, provided you pay attention and take notes. Contrary to what some of the people are saying, buy the damn textbooks. Do so used, online -- NOT THROUGH THE BOOKSTORE; THEY WILL RAPE, MURDER AND BURN YOUR WALLET. Feel free to work, though realize that your schedule will be more constrained and screwing around will carry weightier consequences as time is a limited commodity. It's fine to cram, on lower level classes and easy classes in general, but ideally you should prevent a situation where the entire course load is being tested at once, particularly finals. Unless your writing skills are above par, you probably shouldn't BS papers until you are good at it. If done properly, you should have plenty of free time.

True, but the American's Elect failure proves that not enough people crave a third party yet.
It's not the number of people who want a third party that is the problem. It is the fact that they are politically fragmented that prevents a third party from happening.
