I've got over 800 in about half of my games and over 500 in the rest, but no 1000's.

The achievements I miss are usually stupid, boring, tedious ones, but honestly I don't give a crap about gamerscore.

It does bother me when I try a game, don't like it and then it is permanently on my gamercard at 100 or 200 points. But I am a completionist so I always go back and beat the games story just because. The worse game I had to go back and complete was Wet, but I also found Mass Effect 1 to be pretty boring as well.

The game I was looking forward to the most was Dead Space 2 and it freaking rocked.

L.A. Noire looks great as does Arkham City, Rage, and Dark Souls. I would have to say I'm most excited about Dark Souls; Demon's Souls was my favorite PS3 game ever narrowly edging out Uncharted 2. Uncharted 3 will be amazing, but this is a 360 forum.

Brink, Homefront, and Crysis 2 all have the potential to be good games, but they define hit or miss. I will try Mortal Kombat, but I have a feeling it is going to be mediocre.

I honestly don't get all they hype about Gears of War 3. I've played both Gears games and they were good, but I'm not losing sleep over waiting for Gears 3. It's just going to be the exact same thing. I'll play it and I'm sure it will be enjoyable, but I look at it like I do Halo, CoD, and Killzone. The story probably won't be too great, but it will be playable and the MP will be fun, but won't be drastically different. That doesn't mean these games aren't good, but they aren't different enough to make me get excited.

I loved the game, but I wouldn't have paid for it. Not because it isn't a great game and worth it, but because it isn't necessarily my type of game.

If you have any techinical knowledge at all here is what you do:

Open your Xbox 360's case up and take your Disc Drive out.

Then open your disc drive up by removing the 4 screws and taking the top and bottom metal pieces off.

Then open the disk drive tray and you should see some mechanical wheels moving with a rubber band around them.

TAKE THAT RUBBERBAND OFF.

Get some boiling water in a cup or something, wait about 30 seconds and place the Rubberband in it. Leave the rubberband in the water until it is room temp.

Now dust the inside of the disc drive and console really good with a rag or better yet spray duster.

Then put the rubberband back on and put everything back together.

EASY. This will fix 90% of tray issues.

This is a major problem with parenting today. If your kid does something wrong instead of disciplining them because they messed up parents blame someone else.

Oh it's Microsoft's fault I don't supervise my child enough and never taught him the value of a dollar.

Oh it's the video games industries fault my kid went crazy and shot up a school. It's definitely not because I don't pay enough attention to my child that I didn't notice the dozens of warning signs and didn't send him to talk to someone or talk to him myself.

Oh it's rap music's fault that my child swears and wears baggy clothes.

Oh it's the government's and school's fault my kid is an idiot and graduated high school without the ability to read.

NEWSFLASH.

IT'S YOUR FAULT.

Start paying more attention to your kids, discipline them when they get out of line, make them accountable for their mistakes, talk to them about things like sex, violence, drugs, etc. If they mess up explain to them what they did wrong and what they should've done instead. Make sure they learn from their mistakes and then beat their ass so they don't do it again.

Mistakes are only mistakes if you don't learn from them.

IS ANYONE READING BEFORE POSTING?

Yes you can turn it off. Go in the options and turn "Noise Filter" off. Noise Filter is a misleading name....it does turn off the grainy effect. It doesn't make as much as a difference as you would think and I prefer to play the game how the developers intended, but you can turn it off.

IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH $20.

Like others have said it is hard at first, but every time you die it is because YOU did something wrong not because the game cheated you. You will die A LOT no matter how good you are, but part of dying is learning how each enemy attacks. You have to die a lot of the time to learn each new enemies movements, but if you pay attention the next time you see that enemy it should be easier.

Also if you get to a boss or part you can't beat just look for a blue note and invite someone to help you. Often they are a higher level than you or better than you or a different character build more suited for that boss fight.

I beat the whole game by myself except the boss in 1-2 I just couldn't beat on my own b/c I was a very low level and I thought you were supposed to stay in World 1 until it was beat and THEN move on to World 2 (Not the right way to play). So I found a blue sign and the guy helped me kill the boss pretty easily.

I like playing through RPG's the first time just learning as I go and making whatever character that seems interesting without doing any research THEN I will go back and make certain builds that are different, better, or more fun.

My 1st character on Demon's Souls was a mess, but it was fun to play with and the game was very challenging which I like. I beat the game on my own and I love that.

My 2nd character is a faith-based PVP character and the game is REALLY EASY with him once you get to about level 40 and when you get to level 100 even NG++ is reasonably easy. You have to know all the enemies and one hit will still kill you a lot of the time, but at this point you know what you are doing and the massive HP regen this character has helps tremedously.

With all that said if you are having trouble at the beginning of the game then go to the Demon's Souls Wiki page and find a good character build guide and follow it. Faith-based character are GREAT for noobs b/c once you get certain equipment you regen HP pretty quickly.

If you want to stay true to the game I would recommend just playing through on your own first without following a guide, but if its too hard then find a guide and follow it. You should have no issues that way.

I'm not sure if you can on the retail disc version, but on The Lost and Damned DLC you CAN turn off the grainy filter.

I can't remember how, but I saw an option in the menu somewhere.

It is only an effect in The Lost and Damned to make it feel grittier and show Liberty City in a different light. It is NOT in The Ballad of Gay Tony because it is all about glits and glamor.

You can turn it off though.

Halo CE will get released, it will have Multiplayer and it WILL be on a retail disc.

You guys are idiots if you think Microsoft is going to release an HD Halo game without MP and on Xbox Live. The original Halo CE is already on Xbox Live.

I actually wish developers didn't make different difficulties.

I like games like GTA IV, Demon's Souls, and Super Meat Boy where you just have to play the game as created.

The point of varying difficulties isn't really for drastically different skill levels.......It is casual vs. hardcore gamers.

Easy modes are made for young kids and people who only play games occasionally.

I've told people this about every game I've ever heard anyone gripe about the difficulty.......IF YOU PLAY ENOUGH YOU WILL GET BETTER!

If you can't beat it on normal then play on easy.

Like others have this is a SURVIVAL Horror game. You are an engineer using tools as weapons in Deep Space fighting freaking monsters.

YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DIE A LOT! IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE VERY HARD!

Honestly I don't want to hear anyone complain about the difficulty on this game until they play Hard Core mode. No checkpoints and only 3 gamesaves the entire game. I beat it and it was extremely hard, but it was never frustrating. When you die in Dead Space it is because YOU MESSED UP. Not because the game cheated you.

It's like Super Meat Boy in the sense that you die when you mess up. You don't die when you do it right. It's hard but not unfair or broken.
