One way to celebrate launching GameSpot UK is to get sick... which is what I managed to do yesterday. Too sick even to play retro Pac Man games on my GBA. Felt better today when I found out that the Guitar Hero competition on the site is proving really popular - we have more competitions for UK readers coming soon!

Well, the UK version of GameSpot has gone live and seems to be holding up so far. We're reading in the forums about features and content that readers would like to see in future, and taking note of what's being suggested - hopefully we can act on some of the ideas soon.

It's been a big team GameSpot effort getting the site working and live - now it's time to settle in and try to keep everything running smoothly. At this rate I will have no time to be wound up by Frogger today!
