they're marketing it as a portable solution for the 360 , except you need to plug in both the monitor and the 360 now.. i think they should sell this in the states as a LAN party and anti TV hog tool.. here's the IGN article
" April 16, 2007 - Microsoft's oft-rumored plans for a portable Xbox may have just been spoiled. The latest peripheral from the same folks that brought the world the Onimusha sword controller and the Final Fantasy X-2 gun controller promises to deliver true Xbox 360 gaming on-the-go. Assuming you've got a bag big enough to house an Xbox 360. Hori finalized today release plans for the Compact TFT Monitor EX, an LCD monitor that can be attached to your Xbox 360 with minimal effort. The 36,750 yen 12.1 inch monitor outputs 720p and gets its signal from the 360 via analogue RGB. Sound is output via stereo speakers below the monitor, or you can plug in headphones. The only thing keeping this from turning your 360 into a true portable unit is the power. You'll have to find a place to plug in the power adapters for the 360 and the monitor. Yes, as should be expected of an LCD monitor, this unit has its very own AC adapter. Japanese release is set for July. If you manage to get one of these, we'd suggest a backpack with sturdy straps. "

Was a Nintendo fan up until the Gamecube was released.. That controller is too small for my samoan hands, and Halo was too damn fun....i also like to think i follow the Logik of Luigi... stays back in the cut, collecting coin, not concerned with the fame... Mario can have that... and everyone know he be tappin that Peach on the Lo lo, but it's Mario that gotta put up with her sh!t ... there's also this under ground hip-hop artist called Luis Logic that's pretty tight..

I don't think the benefits outweigh the cost of development.

Seriously, not that many people would use the feature.

Deyee
well i would, and your right, it would cost too much for the developers to consider it, which is why i think M$ should front the bill or even pay developers to patch in wheel support for their older games... it will increase demand for not only for the wheel but for the 360 versions of games in general.. and thus the 360 itself.. edit: Or they should offer discounted licensing costs when developers add in features for 360 perhipials (SP?)

My wife has put forth a challenge, if i can loose 16 KG by my birthday (sept 4th) she will overcome her hatred for the 360 and buy me the Wireless Force feedback Wheel.I was on the fence about getting it myself but now i'm stoked and cant wait.. but it made me wish there was more support for it , and i'm not just talking about existing and future racing games but non racing games that have vehicles in them like Saints Row, Crackdown, GTA IV... hell even Halo 3 here's how i see it working : start off with your control pad and have the Wheel setup as 2nd player or whatever .. when your on foot use the control pad as you normally would.. as soon as you hop in a ride, drop it in your lap and grab the wheel and away you go... gear shift could be used to either shoot out the sides,change radio stations or handbrake.. what ya'll think? i personally think MS should be offering incentives for developers to support the first party perh..peri... frickit... stuff... like that damn vision cam .. which is starting to feel like a waste of dough..

[QUOTE="o_sausage"]He wasn't bombed by an exremeist.darksusperia

well, can you prove that it was an extremeist? I mean, theres alot of facts that have been laid out, and questions still unanswered...like, wheres the plane that was meant to hit the pentagon? why, when u play the footage of the plane about to crash into the building do u see flames on the INSIDE of the cockpit b4 the plane even hits? y does the plane have the ability to be controlled remotely? and lastly, it wasnt even a commercial plane....

simply, u cant say it was extremeist and you cant say it was.

Dont get me wrong, I think it was one of the worlds biggest tragedies that should never have happened. and if it was indeed done by MR bush himself then that just makes it all that more worse that he thinks that little of his own people that he needs to murder 5000 odd to justify to go to afghanistan and then iraq for the oil..no WMD. yes saddam was a bad person but it had nothing to do with him, he was just carrying on his fathers vendetta....

/end rant.

and when you add 9 + 1 + 1 you get 11 and when you add 1 + 1 you get 2 and when you smoke 2 much pot you start thinking our government is capable of an impossible conspiracy theory like purposefully flying planes into the twin towers to get support to go to war... The only thing they are guilty of is letting it happen in the first place: sleeping on the job, shifting the blame then capitalizing on it afterwards, that's all... oh wait.. that's pretty Eff'd up
