[QUOTE="Blitz1130"][QUOTE="willpd123"][QUOTE="Blitz1130"]After playing various matches in gears, i was feed up with the damn game and posted calling it a Beta? am i alone in this opinion?, or do, and how do you defend epics point of view?

Why call it a beta it obviously isn't?
Have you played a ranked game recently, there is so much glitching and cheating, its unbarable.
I agree. Not to mention that they used one of the most cliche "story" in video games. Aliens trying to invade the Earth. OMG IVE NEVAR SEEN DAT B4! I would have liked Gears a whole lot better if they would fix online and actually add a single player story.
They weren't aliens invading earth (it wasn't even earth if i recall correctly) and i'd be willing to bet it was the Humans that were the aliens in this story. The locust emerged from the ground in retaliation for the Humans destroying their home.. anyways we'll have to wait till the sequal for more details, but i didn't see anything wrong with the story, it was just a taste that served the purpose of delivering great graphics and good gameplay, but at the same time hinted and something bigger..and yes TC if you came into my house and told me that i did a $^*& job without any constructive suggestions.. i would've kicked your ass out too
Contra III (best game ever made, no need to adjust, just add online coop) Wild Gun Man (with updated graphics and Vision cam support) Viper(updated graphics)
The envoirment moves obviously. If you walk forward in a game, the envoirment comes to you're character. You're character doesn't actually move forward. Which is obvious because if he would then you would see you're character walking away from the camera. It's hard to explain but basically the envoirment moves and comes to you, while you're character makes animations which make it seem like he is moving through the envoirment.FearlessSpiritBut what if your camera is moving with you?.. and if the world is moving and your character is animating in one spot then what happens in a multiplayer game? does the environment move with respect to each person..?? the truth is, the environment is stationary.. if it moved you would need new coordinates for every object that doesn't move on top of every object that does when you do move and then collision detection gets all effed up and your wasting power on useless calculations.. your character moves along with the camera and in FPS's your moving the camera.. you could program it so that the world revolves around you but you wouldn't be able to do much with it..
I saw that earlier. It doesn't look like something that will be fun for long, but I like how there are guns on top of the buggies.joey101010oh snap, didn't even notice the guns before... sounds like hella fun... 4 player co'op with Machine gun mounted Dune Buggies... i may just have to renew my gold subscription... all they gotta do remove the level cap and i'll be set till GTAIV comes out
