well, Iv'e got this monitor on my PC - http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/l193sa.jhtml

I know it's pretty old, but it's a great monitor and I'm very happy with it. recently Iv'e decided im sick of playing the ps2 on my 21' far away tv, so Iv'e cleared the desk and moved the stereo, and stationed the ps2 there, at first when iv'e plugged it with the composite cable to the monitor it looked fine overall, but the colors wasn't good, the black was pretty green and iv'e been told that I need a higher quality cable like component, so Iv'e had to buy this expensive Sony Component PS3/PS2 cable, and when I plugged it in, the colors looked just fine, yet it was rather blurry and the details in the games were pretty blurry, it was very annoying, when I tried god of war and put it in Progressive scan, it looked far better, but I don't have much games that has progressive scan in them, now Iv'e searched the net and found out that it's a common prob with LCD screens and PS2 combination, and now I'm stuck with the cable and can't return it, and I figured out that if Iv'e already got it, i'd better use it, and really I'm sick of using my old 21' tv, is getting a new SDTV that has a component port the only option? or is there some way I can still make my ps2 look good on my monitor? Thanks alot in advance!

Im a huge jak and daxter fan to, but it wont be made by naughty dog, so im a little iffy about it. __ Currently playing: Killzone 2 PSN: Gray_Fox1203bigboss1203

it was said that the company that develops the new jak is working closely with naughty dog, therefore naughty dog does helps them with making this game, therefore, it has some sort of a hand in it, also daxter wasn't developed by naughty dog and its excellent.

I'm very intrested in all of those games, and didn't got the chance to play them, yet I don't got any of theyr'e prequels, so I really need to know, regarding the Elder scrolls oblivion and fallout 3, do they have any connection with theyr'e prequels? or they are stand alones, like say the final fantasy games, and regarding the Resident evil 4 (yeah i know it's not on the ps3) and 5, how much are they story connected to the past games and what do you need to know to play them? thanks alot in advance. =)

Oblivion and Fallout 3 don't require any previous knowledge to play them, so you're pretty safe to enjoy both and won't miss anything from the past games.

Resident Evil 4 and 5 have some connection but I believe RE5 was made is such a way that you still will have a pretty good knowledge what going on around you.

Chris and some other characters from previous RE games do make appearance and it definitely helps and somewhat make the game more specials if you know those folks, however you can also learn about them in FILES options of the game menu.

They have pretty extensive pages on information that goes back to original Resident Evil. While not as in debt as if you actually played those games, it still will provide you will a lot of information that will make sense when you read them all. You will be able to make good connection between game story.

It's one aspect I really enjoyed Capcom implemented into RE5. FILES are definitely big help for those who haven't played previous games, not 100% explained but definitely very helpful if you want to know more about RE universe.

IF you have a chance, Play the previous titles, other then RE5 which I consider the weakest in story department, previous games are fantastic with RE2 standing out the most.

Hope that helps a bit. You can pick up RE5 just fine, FILES do help quite a bit - but if you want full experience, check online for written in debt story or videos to get the full story. ;)

thanks alot for the answers =)

well, it's just that getting new copies of the past games for my ps1, that would be very costly...also I sold my gamecube, so maybe I'll just have to past, I really hate playing games that are linked to theyr'e prequels yet I don't have theyr'e prequels. I'm really excited yet getting Oblivion and FO3, I'm really happy theyr'e not story connected to the prequels, but they just exist in the same world.

You're retarded. If you actually paid any attention to Demigod, you'd know that the only reason it got low scores was from it's connectivity problems and to some people, a lack of a "campaign". But as you said, it is multiplayer focused, so right off the bat the campaign is redundant. Demigod is an azmaing game Stardock just needed to tweak the online settings. For the most part, everythings fixed now. The main issue lies with people from other countries connecting to eachother, and when that happens, it prevents others from connecting as well as freezing the connection. So stardock is putting proxy servers in the different countries to offset this. Go look up how much work Stardock has been doing with this game.

Don't be an idiot, pay attention to what's actually going on. The game is stellar, the graphics, gameplay, sound, and multiplayer (when it works) is absolutely stellar. It has been hailed as the counterstrike of strategy games. It's extremely competitive and fun.

Do yourself a favor, and buy this game. It's amazing. Better than DotA easily... which is unbalanced as hell.

oh ffs, have you even read my post? all I was saying was what the game was lacking in order to create (for me atleast) a perfect game, If youv'e read my post you should have known I didn't have any prob with the gameplay of it neither it's graphics, what youv'e written had nothing to do with what I was trying to point out, youv'e proven to be much more retarded than me it seems.

I misread some of your sentences, I guess it came off like you were saying it sucks because of the reviews. But anyways, I don't think a console version would be any good without mouse and keyboards, the graphics would also take a noticeable hit. I guess I'm just so sick of hearing people bashing Demigod and Stardock, even though they are both great, there was just a mishap at launch. I just wish people would pay attention to the good things Stardock has done and is doing to fix Demigod. Demigod still has a chance of being a very serious multiplayer game on PC as is... once word of mouth gets through that the problems have been fixed, and once the DotAtards get over it, they will flock to Demigod.

it's fine. actully this topic was more like a praise to Demigod, that some company finally made a game that's more original and have done it actully very well except for a few flaws that stop it from being perfect, but I'm really hoping that kind of RTS/RPG playstyle will become more popular, I just always thought the entire Idea behined dota was great if it was just taken into a better form, such as Demigod, it's just that the lack of a serious back story kinda hurts the entire feeling of the game since the game hosts really interesting characters, and dunno, I really like knowing the story behined the game universe...and having no story kinda annoying me, but really in my opinion atleast Demigod is really a huge leap forward. and well, I actully think that this game would work excellent on consoles, just changing the controls to be more hack n' slash-console like, and well, the ps3 would have no prob at all running this game, graphics will not be taken back at all.

well, dunno, to me it just feels that consoles deliver a better gaming experience, it just feels like they are more oriented towards gaming (and indeed they are), you do not need to worry about alot of hassle that the PC has, and as of today the consoles got much much better games than there are on the PC, and just holding the controller in your hand and knowing that the game disc is running in that box that's made only (or almost only) for games, and you don't need to worry about anything, it just feels...more gaming oriented, the PC feels much more technical and made for other things, altough there are and were some of the best titles ever to the PC.
