Dont let reviews tell you how games are, i dissagree with about 90% of reviews these days. So instead of trusting others reviews, i make my own opinion after i play the game

Demigod is awesome and i could care less about some silly reviews.

The gameplay in Demigod is top notch.

"just Demigod's execution was terrible..." You base this off of videos? How about you actually try the game first before bashing it. Silly gamers these days paying so much attention to reviews.

I have indeed read the reviews and watched the video reviews as well, I'm not basing what Iv'e said upon the score, Neither Iv'e said anything bad about the gameplay, apparently you didn't get what I was trying to point out, I didn't say the gameplay was bad, if it was bad my entire post didn't have too much of a meaning since in my post I have written "take the game as it is", Iv'e just written what should be fixed and added, in order the create a masterpiece of a game, demigod has its flaws on top of it as well, what I was trying to point out in my entire post was again, this game could have been a masterpiece with just a few tweaks that Iv'e pointed out in my post. your'e hating for all the wrong reasons.

heh Iv'e might payed too much, but Iv'e payed 175$, but that was on a brand new Sealed copy of the game, I really wanted it in my collection, really really! and Iv'e got this prob that I hate buying used games, I never do so actully. and Iv'e seen the average price for new unopened copies of FF7 are around 200$ so I thought 175 is a good deal, and I'm happy that Iv'e done so, even if it's way way way too much for a videogame :P

well, as an old DoTA (defense of the ancients for the uneducated of us) addict, Iv'e just recently watched the new Demigod reviews which aren't very good, and I was just thinking, damn, this game couldv'e been an insane hit,

If the game was taken as it is, Made multiplatform (PC,PS3,X360),

Make the console versions controls just like the cookie-cutter hack n' slash console rpgs aka Baldur's gate: Dark alliance and Champions of norrath,

This game is very multiplayer focused, so for instance add a single player campaign, which will be abit Unreal Tournament-like, I mean various challenges, that basiclly tells a story and gives background to the characters and factions in the game, but overall make the single player experience close to the multiplayer one, since that's the main focus of the game, I'm pretty sure anyone here who played any of the Unreal tournaments single players understand what I'm trying to say,

Invest alot in making the multiplayer for all 3 platforms bug free and lag free as much as possible, maybe make sort of a network like B.net,

add to the console versions split-screen 2 players multiplayer, people with a large enough TV can benefit from it alot,

make it fact paced addictive and fun, just like DoTA was,

this can be an insane hit, I mean DoTA has a Huge fanbase of players, and it's just a mod! The idea of making a full fledged original game that revolves the core elements and ideas of DoTA is brilliant, just Demigod's execution was terrible...

It's maybe my greatest gaming wish that some company would have the guts to make such a game and execute it well :P

what do you guys think?

well, Basiclly I'm much more of a fan of Fantasy setting rather than Sci-fi setting...I like the more mature part in games. The story is very important to me, I love the story in FFX, I also love beatiful environments, but well overall, right now I'm in the mood for a game that's less frustrating, seems like IX is more the way to go, espicielly that I didn't get to play any FF prior to 7.

You have two great's You have FF VII and FF IX that have great storyline, both huge, various charecters....and goes on But,i would buy FF VII,because, cmo'n it's VII!! XDHorizonfound

I already have 7, I'm just trying to decide if to get 8 or 9.

and Final fantasy tactics advance for the GBA is not the same as the ps1 game, it's a diffrent game set in the same world, but it counts as very inferior to the ps1 version and much less complicated. Final fantasy tactics: The war of lions for the PSP is a port of the ps1 game, with added content and a few changes.

well, thanks everyone for all the comments, I don't think i'll get Final fantasy Tactics because I guess Id better get Final Fantasy Tactics:The war of lions for the PSP, which is more or less a remake of the original...I'm more into either 8 or 9, I'm really puzzled which one to get...you guys are pretty equal in leaning towards either one, I heard 8 has many issues and many people got frustrated and didn't like it...dunno, maybe I'd better off with 9? I really love FFX if it helps in anyway :P

heh, Thanks everyone... still having a hard time deciding, maybe should get Tactics instead of IX or VIII, anybody knows how long does it take to beat it on average? it's pretty expensive as well...but whatever.

Well, I do have a PSone, as well as FFVII, and I thought maybe I should get either FFVIII or FFIX as well, I don't think I'd get both, I still got so much PS2, PSP and PS1 games to complete, I don't even have a PS3 yet! probably will only get one next year with the huge list of games I still need to finish, and each FF game is very long, so for now I'd rather only pick one of the 2, which one would you recommend and why? Thanks!

well, I know this topic has probably been talked about enough before, but well...I still can't decide.

I basiclly not much of an FPS fan, I play mostly RPGs and those action adventure likes. but well there are few FPS' games that I have enjoyed alot, the first Halo for example. so anyhow I've decided i'd buy the entire series, of either Killzone or Resistance, but I'm really puzzled which one should I get...

Overall resistance seems like it has more to offer, the Chimera seems like a much better enemy than the Helghast and dunno, the entire game seems more appealing, but I haven't played neither of them.

what would you suggest overall? and really I'm only into one series, I'm not that huge of an FPS fan to buy all of the games...
